@HSimon1981 Yea that's cause 3 members were in EV. And Ben had a huge contribution in the making of "Fallen" it's the same people. So their approach to the writing is still similar. but both bands are now very different sound wise. I like both bands.

When Smithson hits the higher, more powerful notes, there is a bit of Kelly Clarkson in her sound. A good, strong-voiced front-woman for the band. She'll get better as she progresses.

This is the one song of theirs I think is really quality. The other songs are good, don't get me wrong, but this one has a class of it's own. Hopefully the band gets better as they go, but with this they're off to a pretty nice start.

Nice strong piano. I love it when the hook lines work like this with the edge needed to pull us in. The vocals are well done. Nice snap on the drums. Way to back off and let the melody work before the crunch. Instruments and vocals almost feel like harmony in places. Two thumbs up.

Carly wrote this after reading New Moon and you can definitely hear the inspiration in the lyrics. Very cool song. I actually kinda like these guys, even if I am sad that John and Rocky left Evanescence. Oh well. Both good bands.

The cover for the album reminds me of the music video The Howling by Within Temptation. Great song though. We Are the Fallen is amazing!
