  • kiiero0 aprender hacer to0do0 hezo0

  • this is what i have decided to call a sooper dooper hooper pooper scooper loop. O_o

  • @tiggs1792 CrashBox?

  • Wrocław moje miasto

  • I can get to the point that you have to get them apart. Every time they stick together and i can't get them to go apart.

  • @killerdragonn1 Are they only doing a half rotation? If you aren't you need to get to that point. If you are then depending on the shape of poi you use (I have flowlights so its easy for me) you should swing the poi to the side that you did not start the spin on, takes a few tries but once you get it its alot less about timing it so they unravel perfectly and more about the motion itself.

  • Finally sorta kinda got it, trick I learned is dabble alittle into isolations to get air wraps then once you got air wraps you just need to learn to shift it out in front of you

  • GAH those pants! Although i love watching this move but i still personally cant make it work !

  • this is impossible :D

  • poi???

  • You make this look so damn easy.. I'm getting close to it, but it's hard to get it to correctly untwist on the opposite side.

  • Know any good videos on assembling practice poi strings? Thanks!

  • @thisisjustaname12 Flat shoelaces are pretty good, I've found. They're soft and have a good bounce level, not as extreme as sock poi. You can tie the ends together with a whatever knot suits you, most common I think are the reef or overhang knot. :)

  • Explica mas'''

  • hes not talent yet... he should to be asian :D

  • I usually teach people how to do it by telling them to spin in split time then put your thumbs next to each other, let stings cross a little bit then pull.

  • well.... turns out I'm better at the buzz saw than I realized....... O_o my poi keep missing each other.

  • do you spin fire!?!?!?!?!??!

  • How the fuck do you do the air wraps

  • is he wearing a cape?

  • @shands89 im curious, where do you see the cape?

  • hahahah superduperuperloops

  • ive been teaching myself for a year and still cant get these friggin moves down. Ive probably lost my fertility by hitting myself in the balls countless times but still havent gotten anything from it >.< I dont think you can teach yourself this you need someone who already knows it to tell you what youre doing wrong.

  • @toetallraver if someone who knows how to do it right is showing you how to do it right on youtube, cant you watch and infer what youre doing wrong based on the proper technique?

  • @toetallraver The biggest key to learning poi is to relax. When you are stressed out you will naturally not go with the normal flow of the circles and it will become impossible to learn. You should try meditating before you do poi, then, in a calm state of mind, being fully present, begin to do poi. You will notice a huge difference. A great example is this move. If you tug, the loop will always stay tangled. You tug because of fear and stress, but if you just go with the flow it works!

  • i wish this guy could teach me personally! Hes a great inspiration and looks like hes having so much fun when he does it and he explains it really well but i can't easily see eactly what i'm doing wrong :( i need a tutor :(

  • my cousin is trying to teach me how to do these but he has yet to tell me that the poi needs to be short >:O ... thanks for saving my wibbles from the pain of average practice xD

  • in youtube

  • user/jull69ct?feature=mhee#p/a/u/1/O6-npao993Y

  • my poi basic. yuo like

  • Wroclaw :):)!!! You're fantastic!

  • I would love to meet this guy.

  • I need a cup for practicing these.. tis painful on me yarbles.

  • superuperduperloops.... Tigger? :D

  • does the type of poi play a big part in this trick?

  • why do you pull when going into superduperuber...thingy? is the fabric of your poi important to do this trick? my sockpoi are kinda stretchy and i find hard to make it work..

    thx.

  • :(((((

  • is this possible with glowstick?

im hella good at wraps im trying to get some poi in my arsenal

  • @johntj4420 Yes it is! Youtube "Melvenorc Hyperloop Stuff" and have your mind blown. :D

  • Also another tip. If you have poi like from flowtoys.com, the strings are a pain in the butt. So once you get the strings to connect at the x, don't pull just let the momentum of the poin untangle itself.

  • this helps me a lot ...thank you for uploading ....i'm teaching myself ...lol

  • sniff.. its hard :(

  • this sport it the most painful sport EVAR

but its so much more worth it when you get something right^_^

  • I have been doing poi since i was about 13, I really like that you have put up some poi lessons. These are the only video's ive found so far that are actually good, and these ones are very good. :) Im looking for a bigger community of poi artists. I like to mix break dancing into my poi, I noticed on a few other video's posted by you or your associates that have poi shows. I will visit the web site now :D

  • Can this be done with sock poi? I do not see this working.

  • In yoyo terms that is called the tangler :DD

  • cute crocs nikie;) thanks tho i needed the tips to learn it

  • Those look like the stupidest pants ever.

  • lol why are there jap gardens in poland?

  • @g31n3z3w5k1 i think he said it was japan

  • @nightfall200 you need to watch the entire clip.....:)

  • @nightfall200

He said it was actually Poland at the end.

  • What is your poi setup? this is awesome.

  • great stuff good teacher as well

  • hey meenik , whatever how crazy people say you are, I LOVE YOUR LESSONS!!!

  • i watch all of the poi channels (lessons and routines) as well as being active in the poi spinning community out in seattle WA, your terminology for the air wraps is correct. for the sake of the learners out there, i suggest you dont change it. hahaha!!

  • I can get the hyperloop no problem, i just cant make the exit. He's barely moving his hands in the video to just pop it out. I've been trying different things and it just doesnt want to come undone. I've even gone full circle with the strings (horizonally) around the loop but it just wont end.

  • @Paramore1 nvm lol timing issue.

  • He actually convinced me he was in Japan.

  • i feel like i need to do something sweet with my life.....such as go to mad festivals and watch people spin glowtoys while im dosed to the max to some dubstep music.

  • uhhh isnt that just orbits???

  • hey, yeah it is, just get it 100% down on sock poi then move to chain. its definitely possible, you just have to be able to do the trick very well to get it right on chains

  • I have poi with link chain and can't do the loops.

Is it even possible to do it with the link chain?

  • awsome man great teacher

  • Need Rave Lights? Raver Wear? Gloves? Orbitals? Glowsticks? Plushies?

If so then head on over to orbitlightshow/com for the lowest prices on all your needs!

And while your there use the special coupon code : poonednoob for a 5% discount off your total order AND 1 free ultra bright microlight color of your choice. (Be...... sure to put color in comments box)

  • I have a pair of sock poi i made but they are lose and stretch. What poi are the ones your using in this video? I want to order some from house of poi so i would really like to know the name

  • youre pretty good at that but your totally a fag!

  • I hate pois, flags its much fun!

  • Wow, He is so talented and seems like a really cool guy, but he really needs a new hair style lol.

  • @TeshViras It's an old one video ^^

  • @TeshViras

shaved close to the head or a shorter mohawk would be legit.

  • @TeshViras na dude the hair is fuckin sick

  • @TeshViras

I think his hair is amazing! it's unique :D

  • @RaverFluff: spot on my boy...spot on

  • i call the air loop hyper loops, super loops orbitals, and the first one was a type of hyperloop weave. do a straight jacket tutorial!!!

  • what are you using ?and is that the same as an orbit like glow poi because I'm starting fire poi and its a lot complicated for me

  • Man the other day I did it now I can't:'( I can go into it and get it in the middle and hyperloop but I can't exit... Does any one have any tips on how to exit hyperloops

  • @bubtube18 Move it to the opposite side you started spinning it from

  • I have a problem!!

I can do the move from stationary.. But not when they are both swinging at the same time and then going into the Hyperloop.

Maybe I am doing the 'olly'.. Anyway.. Can someone advise me on what is best to do?

    Cheers

  • dude...you are freaking amazing...and your happy nature helps people learn

  • hahaha oh dear god this is the BEST tutorial of ALL TIME. but...this is tricky tricky tricky. bruise count at 4 currently....good fun!

  • Love the videos, very helpful

(The crowd on the bridge behind him xD )

  • Wrocław :) Nice

  • lol superduperuperloop? hahaha its been called an orbital in glowstringing since the beginning of time.

  • Am I supposed to slow one poi down so they connect? I think I am doing it right

  • this guy has the best tutorials...

  • wat is a good poi weight?

  • i can do airwraps really really fast, but somehow i can't do hyperloops or orbitals to save my life.

  • Comment removed

  • i can't not do an airwrap

  • so you can?

    --double negative

  • as in when i try a hyperloop a always end up doing an airwrap

  • where can i buy those poi

  • Hi, I was wondering if there's a particular way to do hyperloops with chains? I've attempted it but just seem to fail. this may be something to do with only spinning for a month. Any info would be useful please :)

  • it's preatty hard cause they block together but whit rope it's work really great , but be carefull

  • @marikouack Thanks a lot! :-)

  • Chains will tangle really fast if you don't have swivels on them, so adding some nice ball bearing swivels near your handles can help immensely.

  • @EtherTrace I will try that one in the future. I've still had no success with chains, but I'm honing loads of other moves in the meantime! lol

  • you're wearing crocs!!!

  • damn...that's pretty nice...thx...i've learn something useful and new...hahah..

  • why are you so happy all the time! damn lol jk =)

  • prima o poi ce la farò anchioOOO bc

  • thanks meenik, this has helped me understand hyperloops, as well as orbital exits better.

  • lol at 4:22

    HU(p) ?

    HU(p) ?

    :D

  • I like all the people staring at you on the bridge xD

  • i like his style of poi spinning... but i dont like his clothes... sry dude :)

  • I use ball chains, does that make it harder to do?

  • To an extent, yeah... Also, if you're not careful, ball chain tends to get damaged pretty easily by orbitals and hyperloops. Still doable, just be careful. :D

  • i like how he uses the word funner instead of more fun lol

  • Thank you nik... ...thank you. =]

  • 0:57 HAHAHHAHAHA. superDuperuperloop Lol Roflkingpimppandacorpers

  • Can these hyperloops be done with homemade sock poi? Help I am a newbie! Just started out a few days ago. :)

  • yep

  • yeas newb shoulda tryed before you asked too easy

  • your an ass. try being a little more respectful man. you were new at one point too, ya know.

    -PLUR

  • come one dude though really theyres no difference between sock poi and lets say HOP foxy poi except corlor and fapric so ja

  • yes you can

  • ofcourse! You can do them with any type of poi

  • I'm a newbie too don't feel bad... lol... and anyone being mean to newbies are watching this video for a reason... :)

  • I'm starting to get the hang of this.... but like the Bush administration, I have no exit strategy....

  • @RaverFluff LMAO

  • @RaverFluff LMFAO. Oh that made my day.

  • @RaverFluff xD well put...haha

  • @RaverFluff Genius comment :)

  • @RaverFluff hahahahahahahah

  • Very nice tutorial, I enjoy the very indie feeling and courteous style of teaching. Great job! =]

  • holy crap i think i just id a superduperuperloop aka orbital by accident O.O YAY

  • simply AWESOME tutorial

  • what?

  • you...are...awesome

  • wow! :) you wos in Poland! I'm from Poland.

    You will be here again?

  • woooooh that looks awesome!

  • so the one your calling a super dooper hyperloop isnt that just like an orbital? is there such a thing as a hyperloop conuation?

  • its called an olly....he did it....watch the entire video

  • he just calls it that. he said it in his tutorial on it. and yes it is an orbital. in glowstringing in know there is a continuation its where you turn 180 then it winds up again.

  • glowstringers call it an orbital, the continuation might only work if its going at high speeds like in glowstringing

  • will this work with chains?

  • yep im doin em with chains

  • yeah just either buy swivels or buy ball chains

  • thanks nick!!

  • Poland!

     Im from Poland xDDD

  • I love the diabolo version of this trick :D so much fun to do.

  • i can do from poi,but i cant with diabolo

i started poi 2 days ago

  • same lol

  • WOOOW

  • this guy is great

  • ok. tell me if im doing it wrong. but does anybody else get sore from doing poi for like...... 6 hours?

  • yea dude, doing behind the back weave for 4 hours has me beat

  • oh well... i played for like 8 pm to 5 am tripping fire

  • I'm 29000 viewer

  • FUN

  • and I'm the 28,564 viewer! haha -.-

  • hahaha im the 27,000 veiwer

  • something SUPERRR helpffull my friend told me poi is alot like juggling..

  • Poi is juggling, just in a different form.

Juggling is just the manipulation of objects...... Technically spinning a stick around your thumb is a form a juggling. Some just have names, like Poi.

  • Genius. This is a recent fascination of mine. I'm seriously considering dedicating my life to poi. It's so beautiful to me. I'm really into music that moves exactly like poi in my mind, I'm hypnotized! Thanks for the inspiration.

  • Your way of looking at poi spinning is inspiring! You break things down in a way I would never think of! Thanks for sharing!

  • Thanks Nick....

just figured out you have to turn in order for the poi to untwist....ha.....

    poland......japan? whats the dif....

    wait what?

  • dude i have to thank you for all of your videos, i can spin so much better thanks to you! you are a pleasure to watch and an awesome teacher-keep on spinnin bro! peace

  • woot poland!

  • nvm, i see it's ivan tucakov

  • what music is in your playpoi intros?

  • I can make them spink like a normal loop

but when I try to make the superduperuperloops or whatever they're spelled like the just stop at the middle of the spinning

    any advice?

  • The Superduperloops just stop spinning?

Do you have swivels on your poi?

  • yep, but they're at the beggining of the rope, and if I do the superblablaloops with the whole poi they get too long and hit my face before I force them to spin fast

  • i've got a video of this movement, air grab in slow motion and in perspective of 1ST person, so visit me to sow it, i hope you find it usefull

  • LOL LOL LOL!!!!!: that shoes..... HAHAHA!!! XDDD

ok, you're great, one of the greatest I'd say... but... I can't stop laughing to that shoes... XDDDD

    great.

  • Meenik's clothes are mad, I love his necklace and really want one but they are fairly pricey. Also the waist holding belts he sells are amazing, sooo sad their out of stock but will be buying one as soon as he can get them made again.

  • You spell superduperuberloop different than you spell it.

Please, please say superduperUBERloop, rather than superduperUPERloop.

Either way, you're a phenomenal spinner.

  • Thanks for this. I have been working on orbitals forever and I now that I got this video I am getting closer and more consistant. Thanks a lot

  • I am truely in Awe....

  • I can do it with fire, as with most people in my area. Maybe you should learn more, and judge less.

  • I meant that it doesnt matter in a fireshow because it's easier to do a buzzsaw wrap, and they look the same. I can do both with fire too, their not hard to do.

As to me beeing judging. I'm not. I'm just saying get with the program and dont forget the history here. I have seen the evolution of spinning since I started in 99. And the guys that found the moves and named them after great discussions deserve a break.

  • they are different man... buzzsaw and hyperloop and super uber loop... your not observing! and i think you don't know these moves!!!

  • When he say that it twists on one side an untwists on the other, thats an airwrap. Go between the arms on any transition and it's automatically an bussaw move.

Feel free to show your disliking. I'm going for a hundred.
