But it doesn't matter because they're after my chickens, and the woods are in frisbee-toss distance of my house, meaning the raccoons are coming through no matter what.

@jpfrank06 You don't even have to tease a raccoon for it to try to take a bite out of you. I've had raccoons in my cage trap flip out and bite the muzzle of my air rifle while I'm calmly trying to put them down, not teasing them at all.
My legs are a lot softer and chewier than that Daisy's barrel is. That's why I don't open that trap until that little bastard's good and dead. No other way.

They don't have a strong sense of REALITY; for example, they say things like, "just wait til it bites you, it has rabies"...Show me a person that has been attacked, or even bitten, by a raccoon, and i'll show you someone who was fucking with it and deserved it. I'm more concerned about black people hurting me...I live in Chicago, and they kill each other daily.
