Her (self) righteous anger is understandable, the cursing is not a problem, but she contradicts herself: For example: people put her down because she doesn't use 'correct English, then later she defends her knowledge of and use of 'big words' . She is correct that Maya Angelou is a great writer, but of course so is Mark Twain. The world is full of (sometimes unfair) contradictions. Ms. Davis will be fantastic when she gets a little older. Love it.
she's clearly speaking from experience and not about *all* white people or *all* black people (case in point: she's black and doesn't think studying is "acting white," so, duh, she's not just making generalizations)
in context, "big as shit" and "gargantuan" *can* mean the same thing
'niggard' isn't the word you think it is (it's of Scandanavian origin)
using a King quote to silence a black person talking about problematic constructions of race = comic gold
