It is no surprise many people have been dissapointed with Talib's recent offerings. Well for one he didn't have Hi-Tek offering the beats to match Kweli's lyrical brilliance.

Kweli's finest album Hi-Tek's brilliant beats. The zenith of his career he was telling the truth when he said "we made it. we're here...". This album was one of hip hops finest in recent memory.
It's songs like this that make you smile and realize how good REAL hip-hop is. I do agree that I have not liked some of Talib Kweli's newer stuff as much as his older stuff, but Blackstar, Train of Thought, and Quality are classics. All artists grow; you can't expect them to stay the same/sound the same.
Talib doesnt suck, his style has changed - maybe not to your liking. No doubt reflection eternal and blackstar were sick albums, artists have to evolve though and try different things to stay fresh and keep the blood flowin - thats why you see people get bored of certain artists cos everythin new they make ends up soundin the same, thats why you seen common sense and mos def change their styles up aswell.....although universal mind control by common was absolute wank

Well, since I'm on YouTube and not in class, I felt I could write how I pleased as long as I got my point across. Capitalization and puntuation isn't your strong suit if I may say so myself.
