  • I'm so glad I found this after hearing the Sympathy of birds.

  • I grew up with this record!!! For years I went around going BSAFF-MAY-JIT, BSAFF MAY-JIT!

  • @LandondeeL I also tried the speeding up and slowing down on the tape recorder when I was 10, reciting everything that Fassett said, however I had reversed the process, and sounded slower when I should have been higher and vice-versa!

  • I can't thank you enough for putting this up!

  • If you enjoy this, you also might enjoy the André Popp/Pierre Fatosme colaboration from 1959 -- Delirium in Hi-Fi.

Here are two songs from it that incorporate some of the things Jim Fassett did on his 1955 record, but in a musical way.

La Polka du Roi -- /watch?v=2txb8Lo8cgs

La Polka du Colonel -- /watch?v=hxHE9zxtqIc

  • @borbetomagus wouaa i didn't know that... awesome, just with my favs of delirium in hi-fi, :P

  • Thank you so much for posting this! I'll be sharing it with all my 8 surviving siblings and nieces and nephews. Our copy got tossed around like a frisbe by some of my nephews when they were younger. Now they really enjoy hearing it again. Brings back fond memories of our childhood.

  • @ireneweldon Mine too. My copy however got all scrathed up from overplay....which is just as well. I started having nightmares about the album!!
