I don't think I believe this is a real syndrome so much as a personality type. I had all of the symptoms as a child until I was 13 (literally, no friends, no social skills, violent temper tantrums, stilted speech, and obsession with math and music, tics, difficulty with changes in plans or routine) but eventually I got over these things with conscious self-correction and no longer have most of these issues. Honestly there is nothing wrong with the traits as long as they don't interfere with life
The only person I know with aspergers syndrome happens to be the weirdest kind. He wears womens clothes simply because he thinks it's pretty, he plays with My Little Pony dolls even though he's 24 and his room is filled with weird lego structures, all made with red lego bricks.
I have panic attacks every now and then so I kind of know how it's like... I have the same things you have, but there's something different. Something what makes it different from Asperger's syndrom. Don't know how to say it.
I have Asperger's Syndrome and used to have many more issues, when I was younger. Now I only have trouble with speaking pretentiously and finding my vocal pitch.
According to my brother who is a physician neurologist.
"There is nothing wrong with talking to yourself at all, so long as you dont get a reply"
It allows to explore all the options in conversations to best deal with each that may arrise.
Using your highly tuned mind that most people do not have.
Normal people dont have a reasoning filter between their brain and their mouth.
Boring questions
You displayed good control with her dude.
I would have told her to cut to the chase.
