This has dub step elements. But it is not dub step at all. Same thing with syncopated songs, people think it's reggaeton just because it has the syncopation. Today's music is hard to define due to the huge amount of influence of the genres. After all... who cares what it is as long as you feel it and makes your head bounce like them taxi dolls :)

nice pre-drop section, but i dislike how theres no suspense and it randomly just goes into the dubstep part. Once your in the dubstep part Im not a huge fan of that ticky hi-hat you have there, i think thats a bit too hip-hop, your should probably look into some better dubstep beats and some better drum samples. I think there's a bit to much going on on top of the wobble bass as well, the wobble bass needs to have alot of presence and crazy pumping compression.

From a musical theory standpoint, dub's main focus is the "halftime feel" of the drums. Early dub didn't "wub". When dub started in '98, it was commonly just simply mixing B-sides of breakbeat and DnB into a 2-step feel by literally slowing down the vinyl until it felt like it was played in "half-time". Anyone arguing "no drop/shitty wub" needs to do their homework. This is still dub.
