My dad's an enginer in the RNLI, altough some times he has to miss important events... Like my birth day ¬_¬.
At least i know he's doing a good thing. The RNLI is one of the best charitys in england and i think it's grate that it's giving our generation a chance unlike so many other and older people.
We save the lives of strangers in any weather so please carry on helping fund us so we can continue doing our unpaid voluntary, sometime dangerous job ( crew member from a severn class lifeboat)

i don't think the media does portray young people as hoodie wearing knife wielding yobs. I think that's quite a stereo typical view of the media and a view that we have come to assume to be true because of videos such as this.

You don't know what the RNLI are doing. This could be a part of some big project TO save lives, or at least change them. The RNLI do great work, and so whatever they do I stand behind them. So stop being so cynical and start thinking 'what are they trying to do here?' instead of 'where did the money to do this come from?'. It's obviously a carefully planned project, and until you know the facts, STFU :)

i don't think the media does portray young people as hoodie wearing knife wielding yobs. I think that's quite a stereo typical view of the media and a view that we have come to assume to be true because of videos such as this.

You don't know what the RNLI are doing. This could be a part of some big project TO save lives, or at least change them. The RNLI do great work, and so whatever they do I stand behind them. So stop being so cynical and start thinking 'what are they trying to do here?' instead of 'where did the money to do this come from?'. It's obviously a carefully planned project, and until you know the facts, STFU :)

awesome stuff guys, you lot may remember, i think you were all out on a RNLI All weather lifeboat at some point during the weekend (sat or sun) and you guys met up with some dudes on a double paddle board. (Red)
i was there man, i was on the small yellow RIB with another guy taking photos for the RNLI's paddle for life tour. we'd arrangd to meet up with the ALB and ILB for a photoshoot.

The RNLI exist totally on donations, but can't see why they've wasted money on entertaining teens to bring awareness.
A lot of the people they rescue are high net worth older people who do stupid stuff like forget to put fuel in their £500K boats and needs rescuing.
