Slovakia didn't accept nor support deaflympic games so I personally don't see the reason why anybody ask "Slovakia" for information, what has happened?

Slovak ministry of sport and education in 2005 warned ICSD that they will not support this game bcs of costs. Union of deaf people of Slovakia is not a memeber of national olympic organization nor paralympic organization.

Organizator was non-governmental organization (private organization).

You have brought valid explanation and lesson learned for all organizations. Sports community is waiting for a clear answer to why/how it has happened. It's the first ever cancelled world class sport event for the deaf. Another question is will those organizations who have paid lots of money for preparation, flight, accommodations etc get their money back?

Maybe they did not need permission from the ministry because they have the consent of the other three? Finally, the cancellation is due to corruption. It is therefore a problem of planning in construction of buildings required for this event. Planning and corruption destroy 17th deaflympics winter...
