  • thank u for this video so very very helpful :)

  • @PreCi0uSsS I really enjoyed watching your video! I am 21 and my husband and I have been trying to concieve since June 2nd and had no luck... I have had 6 cycles since I started having visits from aunt flow when I was 15... My husband would like me to take a natural route like vitamins, diet, exercise etc. Is there any Natural remedies or tips for ttc with pcos????

  • @DixieRose1989

The only thing I can tell you is to try a diabetic, no sugar diet, and workout. I actually have never been pregnant and I did this for 1yr and ended up getting pregnant, but unfortunately I was unable to hold the child. But doing these things can help. You can also check out soulcyster . com to see if they have any natural treatments. But I know that diet and exercise do make a difference.

  • Wow, Thank you so much for this video. I was diagnosed with PCOS in my early 20's. Im 31 now and Im been trying to conceive for 9yrs or more. Ive done it all the dieting, metformin, clomid etc. Of course, you kno how frustrated this can. I would love to communicate with u as a support and in prayer. My email is twanna2@gmail.com. Be Bless and hope to hear from u.

  • Had my tubes tied in 2007 through laparoscopy. Thinking nothing else major could happen. 2008 till now cysts balding, pain daily I was diagnosed with PCOS and Adenomyosis a few weeks ago. I am also high risk for cancer because my mom died at 51 from breast cancer and brain cancer she had 10 brain tumors, and bone cancer as well. I just got my BRCA gene Test done just waiting for the results .I have to see an endocrinologist in a few days I am now 29 years old.

  • good advice

  • I thought that metformin was for diabetic?

  • @PreCi0uSsS

Hey, have you tried Red Maca???? If not, go ahead. It might help you.

  • I wacth your video and I completely understand I had issues with my menses since I was 13. I regularly say a gyn Md.

I feel like no one took me seriously and doctor after doc took my money n gave me a lame excuse your to thin, you exercise to much, your anemic... Well I finally got a diagnoses last year, and it took a toll on me mentally and physically. Not only did I have PCOS, I have a hypothyroidism, plus I was told about 11 yrs. ago I had one tube... This almost killed me literally... I sta

  • i am 13 and i was just diagnosed with PCOS. but i am diabetic too. So i cant loose weight no matter what. I have never been myself and it is very hard to deal with. And i am 1 of 3 girls that r not pretty and thin. so this is real, and very hard to go through. ty for this video!

  • hi there!

I'm pcos. I think there's something in the water. It's NOT fun. anyways, I've heard that exercise and diet were more effective than Metformin. also make sure you got your Vitamin D's, people with dark skin have less of it because dark skin absorbs less sunlight. Vit D also helps prevent diabetes. Iodine is supposed to help.

And most importantly, get the high fructose corn syrup out of the diet. Easiest way to stay off of the meds.

Iodine is important in your diet.

  • oh my darlin' you're voicing all of my own thoughts and fears. I have pcos too and I will check out your recommendations. Thanks for an encouraging video. Keep up the honesty. I love you.

  • I'm being tested for this. l went to have a blood test but l got so nervous thinking about it that my veins wasn't coming up and l ended up being tearful but you really helped me! So thank you very much for this wonderful video and God bless you :) xxx

  • Wow, I started watching your vids for the beauty stuff and stumbled upon this. I'm pretty sure I may have pcos after looking it up. I go one month w/o a period then the next I bleed for a whole month. I've gained weight and still have bad acne (at 24) as well I've had hair grow around my jaw area and my chest...I've been like this since I was 20 I believe...think it's time I get it checked out! Thanks for sharing :-)

  • OMG it looks like your story is mine i been married for 16 yearsssss yes! have not have a baby most of the time im sad, mad, happy i just stared medformin this is my 1st week.

  • @lorena19771000 be sure to eat properly and also one of the side effects of metformin is horrible diarrhea so if you get that because 50% of women get it let your doctor know

  • How did the Metformin work for you? It DID NOT work for my system at all. My stomach was like OH NO! lol

  • @dmgeorgehoney Me too I had to stop taking it

  • thank you so much this was very very informational...i was just told today by my doctor that i may have this just the idea of may having it has me all upset.....but thanks to this video i have hope and i thank you very much

  • @realaljamal I am happy that my word were able to touch you and help in some way

  • i was told that i have pcos at 21 i'm 27 now and still have . i have cronic pain on morphine.what should i do?

  • @ginaberrys

I am not a doctor sweety but i will give you my honest opinion, when one doctor can doesn't fix my problem i keep going until i find one that does.

  • sometimes when the cysts pop, i'm like FML! lol the pain can suck big times but the medication helps a lot.

  • i was told I have PCOS yesterday and I'm 21. I am so sad I was told i'll never have kids one day :( </3

  • @iLOVEdjamal

Oh Noooo!!!! who told you that. Who ever said that should be smacking and not able to practice medicine ever again. Many of women have had children who have pcos and pcos is one of the most common and easy to fix infertility issues. Now I am going to keep it real with you there is a small percentage of people who won't be able to have children but a majority do. Now its may not be easy for you to get pregnant and it may take a little longer than usual but hang in and be strong!!!!

  • Hey i have pcos, i have cronic pain which means i am on morphine and pethadine all the time, all the doctors are saying pcos cant cause this pain. what do you think??

  • @justlaurie1991 where is the pain and does is is constant, send me a personal message don't want to put your bi in the streets

  • @cranson27 thank you for taking the time out to comment and care.

  • Thank you so much for this video. It is very inspiring. Thank you also for sharing the book titles!

  • @JustJami74 ur welcome

  • Your an amazing Woman! thank you for sharing your story it really touched my heart. I'm dealing with the same think you've dealt with. Doctor after doctor telling me I don't fit the build for someone who has pcos. One doctor even refused to test me because I wasn't "fat". my problem is my period skips and when I get it it lasts for 17 days. It's been HELL since October of last year. i just has an ultra sound and my doctor said I had polycystic ocaries. please help your videos help woman like me!

  • Thanks Preciousss. That was very helpful! I've been through similar situation. I use to have my menses so often that I was anemic. I am also lean. I had a surgery on my ovaries where they drilled holes in my ovaries. Since then I had a baby boy named Jordan Barack(my miracle child). My menses then started to become regular. Good luck with your situation. P.S...Find a good endocrinologist! M.D Tony Tsai from New York changed my life! Couldn't have done it without him.

  • @jordanbarack

thanks you , and sorry for taking so long to respond. You area miracle and so is your child, and I am so happy that you received that blessing. And comments like this give me as well as others who visit this site hope. Thank you so much for sharing,

  • I am 31 years old and I was diagnosed with PCOS 3 years ago . I have never had irregular periods and the doctor said that is a good thing however , I have had a difficult time getting pregnant . I am taking metformin 500mg 2x daily . I reallly don't want to take clomid . Has anyohe with PCOS ever gotton pregnant while taking metformin alone ? I would like to talk to someone who has PCOS and has similar concerns as mine.

  • One of my associates got pregnant twice on metformin she also added diet and exercise to her routine. and now she has 2 boys

  • I have PCOS since I am 16, maybe earlier. Sometimes I had no periods for 7-8 months and all the usual symptoms. I am currently taking Vitex, Chromium, Inositol and following a healthy diet w/ workout (from time to time) and I can really feel the difference, especially in my energy levels, skin and mood. I will also recommend you check the connection between PCOS and possible candida overgrowth - threating it was such a huge difference. p.s w/ vitex my periods start to normalize, check it out

  • @glowww333 my daughter, was diagnosed w PCOS at 9, and is now, 24! You mentioned Vitex, Chromium, and Inositol. I know, what Chromium is, are Vitex and Inositol, supplements, as well? Is it available, at the health food store?

  • @rdunc86 thank you i am looking into those now

  • i was diagnosed with PCOS Dec. 2008,i was 13.i'm soon to be 15.when i tell my friends about it they're like "omg yu're so lucky yu dont have a period every month"uhmm no i'm not i feel abnormal and they just go oh.but rite now i'm on some medication call Prometrium.and it stopped working after bout a year so my gyno might put me on birth control soo idk yet.but i hate having PCOS cause i bleed too much when i'm on my period so now i have to take another medication just so i wont bleed too much

  • I understand you 100% my friends use to say the same thing and they thought i was so lucky but i was and am suffering. Those periods when they did come where horrible, but keep your head up your are young and the earlier you start dealing with it the better

  • I JUST GOT DIOGNOSED WITH pcos.. i JUST STARTED METFORMIN 500 MGS 2X A DAY.. i DEF COULD USE A FRIEND

  • Dreamz123181, I have the same problem..... I'm on the same medication at the same dosage. My periods are terrible even with birth control... I really think I'm infertile which is so depressing. Though my doctor has never told me, I've never gotten pregnant... :(

  • @bettescorpio Im sorry I missed this comment some how. I would recommend asking to be tested or going to a fertility clinic before they do anything they will check you for infertility issues, once you know what the problem is then you know how to solve it.

  • @dreamz123181 How is everything going with the metformin

If you need to reach me sometimes I am on yahoo.

    Preci0usss its a zero not an o

  • I'm 16 and I was just diagnosed with PCOS in October 2009..

My pediatrician wasn't even the one to diagnose me.. he told me i was alright (I've been complaining about this since 2007/08) =/

Thanks for making this video. You have opened me & my moms eyes to some the treatments out there for me . . thanks!

  • I am happy that i can help. Sometimes its helpful to read the comments ,a lot of women/girls who are going through the same thing leave really good advice. Currently i am making a blog site for pcos as soon as its up and running i will let you know. I wish you all the luck and fyi eating healthy really helps a lot, and it gets a little harder as you get older. Conditioning yourself now to eat the right things may save you a lot of headaches when you get older. It you talk with a md they may help

  • As a woman in my late 30's, I have been dealing w/ PCOS since I was a teen. Yes, fertility is very difficult -BUT, NOT IMPOSSIBLE. I conceived! My baby is 14 y.o now. It took a few yrs but it happened! There is hope ladies! I did it w/o fertility treatments. So anything is possible! Stay encouraged!

  • Thank you for that,, sometimes dealing with your own emotional demons makes it harder to see that its not as bad as you think it is

  • I know what you mean I am 120 pounds and I hve PCOS.I was diagnosed when I was 14 so size means nothing.I am 19yrs old now and many women are born with it it shows up in puberty.I grew pubic hair at 3yrs old.Later found out b/c too much androgen caused by PCOS.Natural progesterone, and chromium balances insulin and takes away Insulin resistance.

  • Thank you, i will look into this because i am attempting to do the diet they suggested and ive gained weight because now when i do eat i go all out on the bad stuff. I want a natural cure or assistance with this

  • I know what you mean I may be slim but I can eat my butt off.Good luck with your diet.

  • thank you so much, i just love food though lol.

  • Hi PreCi0uSsS,

thanks so much for ur video :) I´m so glad to see a woman in the same age with exactly the same pcos-symptoms like I have. And I´m not overweight either. I´m looking forward to your next video. And best of luck with trying to get pregnant. I´ll keep my fingers crossed for you :) xoxoxo from Germany :)

  • im happy that my videos connect with people and help, i wish you many blessing and luck in your journey, if you ever need to talk leave me a message if i don't respond in a few days resend sometimes i miss or click to fast and del.

  • im starting my youtube weight loss journey with pcos

  • i;ll be sure to look out for it

  • im 18 and i just found out i have pcos..my boyfriend and i been trying to concieve and now i know y we cant..ugh its devistating to me..we both want children..hopefully one day it will happen

  • @aliciamarie9887

    you should take avandamet 2/1000...

  • thank you

  • Ugh, I had the same problem with doctors dismissing the possibility of my having PCOS just because I'm thin. It was so frustrating because I had researched PCOS and no one would investigate it further. These doctors need to get with it! haha Thanks for this video... it spoke to me so much!

  • Im happy that my words helped in some way, but doctors are sometimes not as smart as we give them credit for. I always say find a doctor you can question and if the can't answer them find one that will.

  • I was diagnosed with PCOS back in March and I understand what you are going through. Mine was triggered by my weight, I still have this disease. You are a very strong person and your words of love and encouragement gives other women hope. I pray that one day, you will conceive a child because you look like you would make a great mom. Thank you so much and feel free to keep in touch.

  • Im so sorry for taking so long to respond, the holidays has me running. But thank you so much for your kind words, and there is hope for us i know it. I will pray for you also because we need all the help that we can get. If you ever need to talk feel free to drop me a personal message, i'll try to respond a fast as i can

  • thank you so much for the informations.

Im 16 and suffer from PCOS, i can't take the pill because of my acid reflux and so now im kinda left to suffer the irregular mestrual cycles and the other horrible things that come along with it. But my DR. says there is no risk in not taking the pill. You kinda changed my mind there. lol.

    Thankss.

    :)

    and goodluck

  • thank you, i hope all goes well and it really does help the acne, and symptoms, but talk to your doc again the pill only hides the symptoms it doesn't treat the problem, maybe i should do a video about that

  • precious i know how u feel about everyone getting pregrant and u feeling like wow i felt that way for a really long time and know i have my babyboy. i did comment in your other video hope u see i do understand.

  • thank you for commenting it nice when people share your opinions.

  • I have pcos since i was 15 years old it's hard to deal with. Thank u for sharing ur video. u look good girl don't worry

  • really? i'm only 13 and my doc said i'm starting 2 show the signs. I'm so scared

  • "...3 times a day, oh hell no!"

    I LOL'd SO HARD!!!

thanks for that! I am currently TTC with PCOS and any laughter is always helpful!

  • Hey hun - check out my channel - I think you'll find my face familiar...

  • Thank you for sharing your video:) i'm now 24 and just discover i have pcos, my doctor told me to gon on the pill to regulate my periods, but i notice that i gain weight since i been taking the contraceptives. Do i have to take the pill for as long as a live to fix this problem?? .. Does pcos get worse with the years??

  • I would def. recommend that you talk to your doctor, but pcos (as i understand it) is something that is a life long issue, but it is mainly a problem when it comes to fert. Once you are done having children you may not need to take the pill anymore, it depends on what degree you have it and how it effects you. But i would def. follow up with your md to answer those questions .

  • You said every thought I have been thinking, I have PCOS, was diagnosed over 2 years ago (although I am certain I have had much longer in looking back).... I have the same exact thoughts about Maury and all the other unfit parents out there... My boyfriend and I have been trying for over 3 years and I just recently am trying the clomid... Keep in touch, I need someone who understands what it is to want something you can't have as easily as others.. your own family! THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!

  • I love this video!! I am 25 an recently married I weigh 130 5'7 we wouldn't mind having a baby but it is going to be I think 'impossible' to get pregnant. I am very hurt but I found out I had PCOS at age 20 I finally found a doctor who knew what they were doing but I've had problems since I was 17. Some videos on here are pcos miracles I am praying I end up being a miracle (as far as getting pregnant) but thanks I would love to talk sometime!

  • THANK YOU SOOOO much for this. I was sure that other people BESIDES ME suffered from this, I just hadnt came across anyone. SO THANX I dont feel so alone anymore. Im only 20 and I feel like my life is already OVER.

  • Im happy you found me, and our lives are from from over, they just have a longer story than othere people

  • Thank you for this! i was diagnosed with PCOS at 17. I am now 22. It is so hard to keep this inside sometimes. You feel like everyone knows your secret. Its so hard dealing with the unwanted hair. No one understands, and they just look at you weird. People dont understand the emotional and mental pain this causes. I am so glad you posted this. You are so beautiful! God Bless You.

  • I hate the way people can be do judgemental, but at least you and I know that we share the same problems

  • thank you for your video . i had a sono a while ago and i had 12 cysts on each side of one ovary and the same on the other. my energy was very low. i felt like 80 yrs old and i am only 24 yrs old. thank you . i will get one of these books. keep doing what you do.

  • Thank you so much for commenting on my page if you ever have any questions you can drop me a personal message and i hope that the books help out a little bit. I find the best way for me to get throught things sometimes is knowledge, and understanding

  • I have PCOS and it was really intresting to hear how you are dealing. I take Metformin, Sprionalactone, and Yaz. I am recently engaged and am terrified that I will never have kids. I am the youngest of six kids and have always wanted to have a big family, and so does my fiance. I was diagnoised last year when I was 22. It has been a hard road thus far. And I will not lie Metformin will make you have loose stools for the rest of your time on it. Thanks for the vids.

  • Thank you for commenting, and the metformin really messed up my system, i don't think i really gave it a good try. But i am thinking about giving it another try to see how it goes. But its hard hang in there and i hope things work out for you!!! Stay blessed

  • yay! great channel!

  • Thank you so much

  • LOL...Damn, if you are not the 5th person to recommend this in the past 2 days. Yall are crazy! I would love to meet you and your Girl. I am originally from TX just moved to GA a little over a year ago. On the real, I am talking to one of my friends on Facebook now, she has invited me to a Pole Dancing class this Saturday. She literally told me to bring my heels and wear something comfortable and she ain't talkin bout sweat pants! I'm nervous as HELL but I'm going to give it a go.

  • I am also from TX and now in NJ I took a class like that a few years ago with my girl friends, i ended taking the full 6week class i had so much fun. You makin me want to go lol!! Have some fun for me. And don't forget the wine :0)

Ps: its also a great workout i mean really so make sure to stretch real good

  • I hear you, I know what you are saying. I only wish I had half the self esteem that she does. It is much different when a person goes from being a "brick house" to a deserted project. I know what it feels like to turn numerous heads at once. At this weight I often wonder if I even turn my husband's head anymore. Don't get me wrong I have my SUPER SEXY moments....I just wish I could STAY IN THAT MENTALITY 24/7 instead of reminiscing about what I used to look like and get depressed.

  • i can understand where you are coming from, but love is much deeper than looks and your husband prob. knows that by now, and it take much more than looking cute to build a sound relationship and a family

I am going to say something that my friend would say.

Sexy starts with you, so put on a thong and your sexy pumps everyday because you have to show that sexy just not talk about it,. Then she would tell you about how she wears a thong everyday and etc.lol

  • I forgot to mention that I also took Metformin which I am currently taking in hopes of baby #2. PCOS caused me to gain 40 lbs in the 8 months I was TTC and was off the pill. I was devastated. The weight is still an issue but at least I have "something" to show for my struggle, my daughter. I also just celebrated 5 years of marriage....which the weight does not make me feel deserving because when my husband I first met I weighed 165 lbs. I am now 225 and not feeling so sexy.

  • I swear if the lord would bless me with a child i would take how ever much weight he wanted to me to have. But gurl as far as the weight is concerned i need to get my girlfriend Mich to do videos, she is full women and she puts my boneee butt to shame, she is so confident and strong with it she has me wanting to gain weight (lol- but i am serious) and when i tell you she has sexy running out of her she does.

  • Hi, I too have PCOS and I was diagnosed with it in MAR 2006 after TTC and not having a cycle for 8 months straight.

There is hope...I found out I was pregnant in JUN 2006. I had taken prometrium and was expecting my period but it never came (for the 15th time). I was pissed that not even a medication could make my body function properly. Low and behold, I was pregnant. My daugther is now 2.5 years old.

Looking forward to videos as we journey through PCOS.

  • thank you so much, i love hearing stories like yours because it gives me hope. You are blessed and are a blessing

  • I love this video. I was just diagnosed and ran to you tube cause I knew I would find some answers. I mean just diagnosed.....1 hr ago lol so here I am on my journey 26yrs old...we can do this =)

  • im sorry to hear that you just go diag. but we will do this girl :0) lol i like your name i from texas

  • cont ____>I do appreciate you porting your journey with us we do need support like this. get on metforming it had help me..... I was once 24o lb after lot's of sacrifice, i am now 174 Lbs. I help on maintaining my weight.

  • i happy i can be of some kind of help, my journey is up in the air right now i didn't/ can't do the metformin it made me so sick but i'll figure something out

  • it is incredible that all you said here is how i fee. I was told about having POCS when i turn 29 mean while i was pulling my hair out ( what is left of it lol) trying to find out what the hell was wrong with me. since I was told I've being taking my metforming but my cycle are not regular yet. about the pregnancy I do want to get pregnant ASAP !!!!!

  • i have always thought tht a cud cope with it bt rite now am findin it really hard to cope :-(

a went to my gp n it turned out a only have ma periods every t2-3 months they suggested the pill bt a said no, they tested me fur different stuff n they put me on metformin tablets bt they only caused me heavy diaorreah.

  • just wanted to check in and see how you are doing. i was looking back through my comments on this PCOS video and somehow i missed yours so i would just like to say sorry, and how are you

  • i am wondering if you can get pregnet if you have not strted you pried plz reply

  • the question is have you ever had a period. It is possible that before you have a period if that egg is fert. in the fallopian tube then it is possible, but i am not sure i understand the question

  • are you married and also have you tried fertilAid?

  • we are in the process of planning our wedding and no i have never tried fertiAid

  • Im currnetly on on it and it seem to be working so far...no baby yet but...Anyhow i wish you the best of luck ! You will have you baby soon you seem like a good person! baby dust *************

  • I wish you much luck and love in your journey to have a child, tell me how this works for you, i may try it my self. Thank you so much !!!!!!!!!

  • omg i feel you thank you for the info.. i work out but cant lose my belly fat I have to tweeze at least once a week that sucks(I'm still a dime ) but I dont have anyone to talk about this with. I'm 24 but just about everybody I no has a baby.well I have dr app coming in a few weeks hopefully that will help..thanks for sharing..

  • Doesn't that drive you crazy everyone i know is working on there second and i can't get one :0} I feel your pain and that tweezing aint no joke i do that thing that is seen on tv that rubs the hair off the smooth away it works ok.

  • really, I;'ve heard so many things. With my PCOS i don't have any Cysts? (odd) i just dont ovuate???? the doc said it would with metformin but All i keep hearing is the met sucks and patients hate it. I have yet to hear anything thing good from PCOS patients?

  • Metformin might work i have cyst so it doesn't work for me all i know is with met. its not that bad if you eat properly, three balance meals and healthy snacks. so you should be eating every few hours. Don't mess up and not eat or you will pay for it and have a jump in the blood sugar. and that can land you in the hospital in worse cases. Its nothing serious it will just scare you (dizzy, nausea are some of the signs you are not eating correctly with it)

  • hey there I was diagnosed with PCOS this month and my doc has started me on metformin, Ive been listening to video's about PCOS and women starting or are on metfomin. Honestly i haven't heard any succus stories of becoming pregnant off of metformin? Clomid has been mentioned also with metformin? i guess i've just wanted to hear from others if metformin works for pregnacy?

  • honestly i haven't heard anythings metformin success for women with pcos, women who are diabetic have had great success. And i have found out with pcos you have to be very careful with the clomid. what a lot of women on hear don't mention is clomid isn't a very good drug for women for with pcos because it can cause the cyst on your ovaries to grow larger and you most likely won't know till one burst. I had the happen this week and it was very very painful, now i may have to have surg.

  • hi. i just turned 18 and i have endometriosis and now my doctors think i have pcos as well. my questiion to you is what's it like to have pcos? im asking because my periods are irregular but i bleed 26 days a month

  • uMMMM WELL

  • Pcos isn't really that hard physically to deal with i remember when i was younger i thought that is was great not getting a period every month and just dealing with the longer ones a few times a year. But as you get older it may worsen and you will have facial hair which can get pretty depressing, weight gain, and a whole lot of othere problems, along with the though of having difficulty having children. The younger you are when you start working on it the better, Good Luck, hope this helps

  • thank you for sharing. its a relief to actualy hear some one who deals with this on a daily basis then to hear it from doctors who are just taught lol.

  • well if you have any questions i'll try my best to answer them

  • i was diagnosed with pcos in 07, & my doctors didnt help with anything, i dont know where to start. i havnt had a period in 2 years.

  • you need to find a fertility specialist and see if they can jump start your period. They usually start with metformin and provera but they may try something different good luck and let me know

  • nobody would help me, i have no insurance.

  • Thanks so much for your videos..I have PCOS, was diagnosed about 4 years ago, I'm 30 now. Desperately want to have children soon and was put off by my last doctor, hearing your info I am going to try another doctor and try and get some other sort of treatment.. Just wanted to say thanks for speaking bout this condition, people don't seem to understand the toll it takes on a woman.

  • i am so glad that my video helped, pcos isn't the end it just a different road that we have to travel. At this time i am still undecided on if i am ready to have children i am young, but finding out that i have pcos makes me want one now and i don't want to have one for the wrong reasons. this thing is also bad for you emotionally and mentally, I wish you luck in you journey and keep me updated

    Ps i'll do the same

  • I will keep you updated it's nice to talk to someone who understands the exact same things that your going thru...definitely keep me updated on your journey..god bless.

  • i'm a size 8 too with pcos too

  • :0) seee little women get it too. did they have problems finding out what was wrong with you
