  • yes safediver2 but there are good scuba diving stories on the net. My favourite is the myscubastory site. They have accident stories, shark dive encounter stories, wreck discovery stories, and so on. THey have lots of videos on the previous topics too! Type myscubastory into google and its the first one. Enjoy

  • Octopi have always scared the shit out of me

  • It just wanted to shake hands with the diver, but that was (naturally) very confusing for the diver and he just bailed.

  • woah i have that game to

  • My god but I find octopus such magnificent creatures. For all their fantastic evolution as the pinnacle molusc species, it's a bloody shame it's at the expence of longevity. Our octopus down here in NZ have an average life of only 2 years. Very sad, that.

  • @K1w1scot DUDE THIS IS A VIDEO GAME DUDE

  • if i ever saw that thing in the water i'd cum

  • The octopus just only want to exposed in the TV -^.^-

  • Octopus was like Ima gonna eat you!!.............than he was like WTF!!!

  • it was a remote controlled device not a diver. that burst of water that got the octopus to leave was from its propulsion system

  • small camera = big fish

  • I would have freaked too, good vid, and quick thinking, how much air did you loose by the way =) - oh yeah a good tip is if its a night creature out in the day with no fear, then you should have fear!! trust me on this

  • Judging by the telemetry I'd say it was an ROV, not a diver.

  • WTF WAS THAT?

  • That was amazing!! It was amazingly boring.

  • i wooda shit my self

    if that was me

  • I wouldn't been NO WHERE NEAR that octopus in the first place lol

  • that things huge

  • wtf ? :D

  • what was that blast?

  • its from the impeller blowing the water in a direction away from the unit

  • wow,a lot of power!^^

    thx

  • TENTICLES!

  • TESTICLES!

  • SPECTACLES!

  • QUIZZICLES!

  • TENTICLES!

  • PENIS!

  • lololololololololol

  • I have to laugh too. The octopus posed no threat as it was simply curious. The sub is a small robotic type sub not a man-operated mini sub. I'd say the octopus would have checked it out and moved on. The blast of water and gravel just makes it appear to be an aggressive attack as the octopus is waving its arms due to the blast.

  • really fucking bored

  • wot did u do to it? it looked like u destroyed it with rocks and shit, wot did u use, it looks like u fuking blasted it

  • The octopus released a cloud of ink because it thought you were a threat to it... although it did look pretty fuckin creepy as it approached...

  • octopusses are tank

  • llllmmmmffffaaaaoooo

  • that octopus was over 9000

  • 9000 what?

  • Lol

  • 9000 what lawl????

  • LOL DBZ!

  • i think that octopus just shit itself pretty bad

  • is tht real?

  • ????

  • ?????

  • That Just A Octopus Attacking A Mini Sub But Still That Octopus Is Freaking HUGE!

  • The blast is the ROV reversing to escape the octopus's grip.

  • Underwater ROV.

  • ouch, hey why you spray 'thulhu?

  • WOW

  • hmm... i don't think it was very clear...

  • Looks like a mini sub. When it grabbed a hold of it they might've used some sort of water jet sprayer or something. Either way it was kinda funny.

  • That didn't look like an attack, it looks more like if the octopus aproached the camera and got blowed off by something man-made.

  • I know your comment is old but i'm going to reply to it anyway, the octopus latches on and swallows it's prey, if it had continued to come toward the camera man he probably would have drown.

  • Mini sub, not camera man. Mini subs cant drown...Or can they???!!!

  • lol

  • hahahahahahaha
