  • You only damage the indoor hull if you are not carefull with it, try the lowest tilt setting, and you will be very slow, but not as prone to crashing.

  • And the cameras are not nearly that good but the drone. Is still the coolest thing I own

  • It can usually fly 45-50 meters away from you and it has a 15 minute battery and it's very durable I crashed it very hard onto

  • dear santa!!

  • Why not for Android ?

  • @RAFALAKOS22 Research before you look like a retard it is for android, this video is just outdated

  • So u have to own a ipad or a iphone to control it...$500+$300 for the drone ..I need to get a loan..lol

  • Got 1 myself a month ago & having a blast with it! - As far as the "learning curve" goes, it's EASIER than most RC planes & helicopters. (I've flown RC planes @ 20 years). The onboard autopilot uses a down-firing ultrasonic altimeter & can sometimes be "fooled" by passing over objects of different heights (causing wild altitude swings). It is otherwise VERY stable. Recommend newcomers fly in a space such as a basketball court before trying outside; consider 10 MPH max safe wind speed.

  • I did not experience a "steep learning curve". The controls are very intuitive and the thing can level itself if you let go of the controls.

  • What's the battery life for that??

  • @thewiitry about 12-15 mins with a charge time of 2 hrs - which is why i got rid of mine

  • does it have to run from internal wifi off the phone

  • @nfootball44 no the drone has wifi that the i_____ connects to

  • @nfootball44 AR.Drone makes its own wifi

  • piece of shit!

  • how far can it fly away from the phone?

  • @KrazyLeins i have this it can fly to about 50 metres from the phone, both horizontally and vertically

  • i perfer a trex 700 XD

  • @macworld how well did super glue fix the hull?

  • @ARMaster1154 ok then, what app was the simulated jet fighter in?

  • I wonder how many people(perverts) are gonna use this to look into other peoples( women's) bedrooms

  • hi everyone got any questions that you wont to know about the ar.drone just tell me and ill answer.

  • @ARMaster1154 this works w/ any brand smart phone, or igadgets only?

  • @joeMopar412 it will work with droid as well now

  • @tommytube yeah i would go with the samsung galaxy 2 becaus these thing brack really easy tack it from me bye

  • Should I get this or an samsung galaxy s2??

  • @tommytube2103 BOTH

  • Just seems like a: "Who the fuk is gonna buy this?"-category... 15 min flight so it's not for serious flyers, Loud as hell, so it's not for sneaky people to use for spying in paintball etc. and with a range of 150 feet? No thanks. Why put a camera on it, if you can already see everything that's 150 ft away without spending $300?

  • this and 10 batteries and im a happy man :D

  • I got one for my birthday, I only had a few problems. Dont get cocky on your first flight and it is hard to fly at first, it takes a long time to be an expert flyer. Superb device just too expensive £300 in britain!!

  • if you bought one of these your a sucker!

  • Its not a helicopter, quad-copter as we hobbyist say

  • 90 minutes for 15 minutes of flight!

  • Give me a mini helicopter with a gyro any day over this... Oh and the $280 change.

  • @kitemett1 I don't think you can pilot an RC helicopter and eat at the same time... :rimshot:

  • @trogdor1oh1 ooo ya its so awesome now i can eat and watch my heli just hover there. NOT

  • This is so much fun. My friends and I always play airsofting games or things outside where stealth is a must and this is such a cool way to get an extra edge on the battlefield.I recommend this thing, it's so cool.

  • @EzioTheThird lol. stop shitting

  • @nepalihercules What do you mean? I do use this thing airsofting, I just bring a few extra batteries for more battery life.

  • I bought this 1 week ago for about 300 bucks and I can say this is totally worth the money. Very fun to fly this in public and not that expensive in my oppinion.

  • Looks kewl.

  • help me!!!!! yesterday i bought mine and followed all the steps then, in installing )the process in the ipod touch) i waited more than an hour and it just didnt install, so i turned it off )while it was installing) then today when i turned it on the status light just flashes 1 time red and then doesnt turn on )the light) and the propeller lights just turn on red! plz help!!!!!!!!!

  • What,it does not come with a affordable radio control hand set?

  • I work at an electronics retailer - i get mine at $150 on my staff discount:D

  • Y'all have obviously never flown a real helicopter. The contra-rotating rotorcraft or quadcopter is much more stable and forgiving than collective-pitch heli.

  • 0:10 or N900

  • The drone makes its own wifi network for you to connect with it. But what if someone else connects with it and crashes it?

  • 90mins to recharge are you fucking kidding me?

  • @DonDrummer You can get replacement batteries at Amazon. There not cheap though at $30

  • i would use the bottom cam and fly over hot girls

  • do you have to be on a wifi network or what?

  • Hey I have a question Nick, How long does the AR Drone fly before loosing connection with the iPhone/iPad. Also do you have to buy the battery seprate?

  • @pigcrap101 150 feet is the AR.Drones range and no the battery comes with it.

  • its so amazing, but the battery can only last 15 minutes, which sucks

  • @SemperFiScout79 you could buy a couple, they are 30€ - Not bad

  • 15min? I aint buying one

  • I hope to get one of these for Christmas. If Christmas wasn't coming up, I would already have one. I still can't wrap my head around all the technology that goes into building this. Very impressive, and for the short battery life, I would have 2-3 batteries to go along with it.

  • $300 is small pocket change to me. i may purchase one of these right now. i'm just so rich.

  • @MustNotRead u dont have to be rich to spend $300 on a RC toy

  • That's fine if it's not worth $300 to YOU, but as some others have pointed out, this is actually quite impressive. It has a 6-dof IMU, which is a couple hundred bucks on its own at best, retail. Some call it flimsy, but lightweight construction is the only way you get the flight time and performance that you do. Longer flight times would be great but right now this is basically the best battery technology available. I want a transatlantic round-trip plane ride for $20 but it's just not realistic

  • first of all, is not as resistant than a regular RC TOY, second, you need to restart your ipad/iphone many times after crash to make the system work, it's very fun because it's cameras, but, the fun is finished after the first crash.

  • Awesome but such short battery life is a major turn off.

  • You dont fly it that fast indoors....stupid.

  • And the camera... Its like 10 fps... That's way too slow

  • хуита

  • this is an awesome product. and if u know what ur doing in the hobby u know that you can use a lipo battery from a hobby shop solder it up and ur ready to go. not only is it cheaper but you can make ur own charger charge it as well.

  • Seriously guys. It's not cheap to make. less then a model airplane, which can go 2-3 times times this price

  • @431plus128512 you can get an outdoor drone by going to the FlyDrone website

  • @431plus128512 not true. I got an outdoor airplane drone that flies really far and high. Much better resolution camera and 30 frames per second. only like $99 more at the flydrone dut com website

  • 299.00 for 15 minutes of flight is bullshit. if it flew about 45-60 minutes it would be a deal but 15 minutes of flight?.... thats bull

  • dude... a good ideo would be to maybe have a replacable battery and sell the batteries for like... 10 bucks and keep like 5 of them.....+ this is 500+ dollers if you dont have an ipod touch...

  • 15min of use every 90min for $300, fuk that lol.

  • Id get it if it was something like 70...

  • Wtf? How come the outdoor one is different to the indoor, and is the frame strong you rekon?

  • @RoyalsChamp5

They're the same unit, you just snap on the cover for indoors. It protects the rotors from objects. They said it's pretty brittle.

  • if they sell it for 200 I'll buy it!

  • battery life is abit insane , the recharge time is 90 minutes so i don't see mysself getting this (considering it takes 6 times the flight time to recharge the battery)

  • I want this for airsoft!! Needs longer battery though.

  • That's very cool!

  • $299 WHAAAAAT

  • @alza3em17294 though a normal heli with one camera is 400 o___________o

  • @alza3em17294 if you know the prices of a regular RC helicopter of that size it's NOTHING

  • @alza3em17294 i mean i want one and everything but my itouch is jacked up honestly make a reasonable price am i right or am i right

  • it's cool. but just like most of Apple products it's more of a "LOOK WHAT I GOT" thing. Not Purchasing this one

  • thats just Awesome!

  • Thats looks sick

  • I want one, but only if it costs $150 or less. What would you pick? An iPod Touch or this? You can't even control this without an iOS device.

  • @matthewmspace if you didn't already have an ipod touch or ipad why would you get this? lol

  • what a ripoff

  • That is great.

  • i want 1
