ok hear me out bulbasaur is not bad, i mean it ivysaur evolves into venasaur at lvl 32 not 36 like the others, it grows extremeley fast u can have it at lvl 30 at the 3rd gym without even tryin

Squirtle is pretty much the best starter(also better then Mudkip) because it can learn a good move set + nice stats and Charizard is to me my favourite Fire pokemon because its a dragon move user but anyway Squirtle is pwnage.

i say squirtle because it ows charizard because water on fire and in pearl/diamond it can learn ice beam i think and if u tech that to mud kip then it powns sceptile 1hit no critical so i would imagine if squitlr learned ice beam it would take bulbasore out in one hit just like sceptile there both grass squirtle lerns hydro pump wich hits carizard and kills somtimes 1 hit

squirtle(or evolution) is best for me,it can defeat bulbasuar (or its evolution)quite good,since it has ice attacks.Also good for Elite Four Lance

squirtle is good at the first cuz water attacks do 4x the damage and grass types too. but the bad thing about charmander is that metal claw does only 2x the damage cuz steel is good on rock but has a normal affect on ground.

Um, charmander is useful in the first gym!! When it learns metal claw it does x4 damage!! Even though it is hard, if you raise it right, the Charizard you will get will be UNSTOPPIBLE!!!!!!!!!

I think Charmander is the strongest starter, even though it does have weaknesses in the first 2 gyms. I mean, thats why you catch other pokemon to make up for another's weaknesses. I got Charmander as a beginner and beat the game no problem. I'm just saying =l

Mayb u cnt beat the 1st couple of gyms with charmande bcuz u dnt train i make sure i grow a level with charmander in EVERY body of grass on the way to viridian and i faint at least 2 going back to pallet and on the way back up

I play it on an emulator, Visual Boy Advance, it can record AVIs. Then, I use Windows Movie Maker to save it as a movie and add titles, etc, then I upload to YouTube.

i love the three starter pokemon i know a cheat code that makes you start out with arodctal and kabouto from without leavig to pro.oakslab.this works with you putting the cheat in and bam you atomaticly get the ppokemon from imside the house
