@bnfox I don't remember suggesting that. The only difference I see is the speed at which they do it. At least I can reason with most people. Trying to talk to a liberal is like trying to get the attention of a drugged out hippie with a black light and neon sticks in their hands. I know a lot of Republicans and Independents who don't like either party the way they are. Redistribution of wealth is actually a liberal talking point.

Already this video is an epic fail. Why have Americans decided to take a perfectly good word like 'liberalism' and mangel its meaning out of all shape.
A comment a little before mine mentions Milton Friedman who in my book looks like a classic liberal. As a leftist I object to being called a liberal. I favour strong unions and gun control, two things a true liberal would oppose.

@maxine2win Little history: In the US what Europe calls liberal is called libertarian. in the 1910s progressives (socialists and marxists) took the name liberal to hide who they are. Now liberal means socialist, so progressives are using their correct names again.
The differences between Obama and reagan:
- O wants a large gov't telling you what to do, R wants smaller gov't
- O believes your money belongs to the gov't and then the other people, R believes your money is yours

what they both have in common is that neither has a clue about running anything. I fail to see how less then a full senate term prepares you to run a country, or how being a B-rate actor does.
on the topic of liberal, the word came to mean something very different in america in 1910, a long time ago

I tend to disagree with the term 'liberalism'. John Locke is the father of liberalism and was the same philosophy that Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and Adam Smith used. Jefferson was a true liberal. Today's liberals are NOT liberals, but rather are socialists/Marxists. Libertarians are true liberals in John Locke's standard of the definition.

The very first line of the video is a distortion. Liberalism is about idealism, that very often conflicts with reality, liberals/democrats are wrong in many ways but in their hearts they are doing what they think is best for the world.
I really wish you'd do more to show that both liberalism and conservatism have many weaknesses in their philosophies. From what I understand, this channel is against all inhibitions on people's freedom, not just against liberals.

Remember how Clinton ran on middle class tax cuts then, when elected, dumped that proposal and began championing gays in the military. He needed to deceive to get elected. Liberalism, as we know it today, is really about the transfer of power from the people to the state.

Deception is DELIBERATELY misleading people. By and large, people in the democratic party think that their ideas are genuinely what's best for the world. They are just incorrect.
Using these emotionally-charged, inaccurate words not only clouds the issue, it insures that nothing is accomplished. The liberals will only become angry, they will not listen to you, and your ranting will just turns off objective parties. Do you want these videos to be a total waste of time?
