I am the voice of "Washington" in a couple of the CSI:NY games in SL and want to thank you for posting this video -- I learned a couple things about the work I am doing.
Millions of CSI viewers flocking to SL is a little scary but if SL isn't growing then it's not going to survive. At any rate, we seem to have weathered the storm this time.
I don't think CSI:NY has a clue about Second Life. They certainly don't understand US law as it touches on information privacy and subpoenas. They don't technically understand what a computer virus is, how an IP number is traced.
But my visit to a CSI:NY in SL orientation sim was just not even functional. Nothing was working for anyone. Even the staff esheep hired to help the newbies were unable to deal with HUDs that wouldn't attach and audio/video that wouldn't stream due to lag.
