    Extended guarantees are also available from ASDA now so there is no excuse for your own short comings, it's a business they are there to make profit not to sympathise with people who don't care to follow commonsense instructions and keep evidence of the purchase.

  • What does a bank statement of an ASDA purchase mean... that you went shopping on x day and bought goods to the value of y. It does not tell you whether it was item z hence they have no real evidence that the purchase on your bank statement was in fact the item you wished to return.

  • As a former asda inmate, all I can say is don't buy their own brand(ie Onn, Pacific etc) electrical goods and if you're dumb enough to do so, keep the till receipt. Stick with asda for food & drink and leave the electricals to currys.

  • I think everyone hates ASDA. When I worked there I was in management, but the atmosphere in the Finance Department was so bad that I used to volunteer to stack shelves whenever I could, as I preferred doing that.

    The staff used to say that ASDA stands for "Another Shit Day Again". The inefficiency was incredible. What a dump.
