i can beat expert alone with a bit of difficulty but with someone whoes around my level of beating expert alone as well for some reason we failed to beat it together

some wont agree but the seaker and flame is your SAVIOR if you can use it well to stop bullets on expert otherwise use the double rapid fire it ownes!

@OrangeF0X OMG, I had this game when I had a Genesis, and it was THE COOLEST GAME EVER!!! And you're right, the Chaser + Fire was the best combination weapon, followed by Chaser+Laser in my opinion! I'm sure Mike and Duke will get the hang of it soon. lol

I'm currently trying to finish this on expert. It's not going too well. That next-to-last level is a MAJOR problem.

It sounds crazy, but use the Fixed-shot character and flame + chaser. You'd be surpised how easy some bosses can become once you get used to that setup.

The problem I have is that I'm using a free-shot character on the expert difficulty. (flame + lightning seemed to work most effectively for me) Also, I beat that section...but I'm in critical condition before the fight with the final boss.

I think for against Golden Silver with Free-shot you may be best using the flame + machine gun; the blast damage is very useful, and it does decent damage. It's what I've used and it's gotten me past him several times. If you have either of the componemt weapons as your default (what you chose at the start), then you can just keep trying until you beat him, as you'll probably get the other weapon pickup when you retry against him. Note that when you retry, you will have 220 health.

This game is awesome once you learn the controls, which you basically have.

a couple hints:

Green weapon is called chaser. Any weapon comboed with it gains seeking properties, and two of the become star shooters that shoot insanely fast and home accurately.

Orange weapon is Force, It's basically just a machinegun that is fairly powerful. combined with others, they have several interesting comboes, one is a fire bomb thing.

Blue is Laser, it can go through any number of enemies before stopping. Combined with others, they gain this property as well.

The fire thingy is a flamethrower attack, pretty powerful, but short range. Weapons combined with this gain either more power and short range, or firey/explosive properties.

You are really close to the main boss of the level. This is a really short game, but I suggest you skip the second, as it is the hardest level in the game, IMO. I never got past him without cheats.

We actually went to him next. We've already finished recording this one. We died on the 2nd boss a time or two, but once we went back and recorded the 5th video (technically the 4th but you'll see) we blew through the part with the 5 bosses and went on.
