It was confirmed that Ubisoft will be separating rayman and the rabbids for the sake of both rayman fans and rabbid fans.... so probably we will still see more rabbid games without rayman himself..

One day, Rayman is enjoying a peaceful afternoon picnic with the local baby Globoxes. But suddenly, the Globoxes are pulled underground by a group of large Rabbids. Rayman offers them food, but their leader, a 10-foot-tall dark-haired muzzle-wearing Rabbid named Sergueï, spirits him away to a dark damp prison cell inside a Colosseum. He is then forced to take part in various odd trials to entertain the mentally-challenged Rabbids.
