I believe it could exist but I don't believe it exists. This may sound stupid but I think they should get permission from the Scottish government to make a dam at both ends of the loch, pump all of the water from the loch into the ocean and when they are done searching let the water back into the loch. Also do this in all landlocked lakes around the world where they believe this creature to be.

So, when the flood happened only those that lived on land or needed to at times to survive -are the ones that died. Could it be that Lochness'(who is a water dweller) survived all this time and was banished by God to stay at a certain level and only comes up when necessary?...

The only way we're ever going to figure this out is if some enthusiast hits the lotto and donates a couple million to fund a real search with modern equipment, performed by people who aren't skeptical. I play the same numbers every week so.... lol... hopefully soon :-)

@Madams1977 A Japanese sub already did an extensive search and came up with nothing conclusive the most plausible explanation my be that very old logs fill with methane gas then rise to the surface and break the surface jutting out for a couple of seconds.
