do you have a full performance of this? I would like to hear the the coordination of rhythm and melody all the way though. Thanks for posting this it was helpful.
Very good lesson. But for the "no longer riding on the merry-go-round" section I think he goes to Am/F# before hitting the F. So it would be Am... Am/G... Am/F#
WELL done and enjoyable tutorial. What youtube is all about! Many thanks; I bookmarked and will grab my Dean soon to follow along. John would be happy with your post!
It was a beautiful day today here in Liverpool so I went for a run and my travels took me past the great mans childhood home on Menlove Avenue . I suppose he used to sit in there watching the wheels go round sometimes .
Wow, was only listening to a demo of John Lennon doing 'Watching the Wheels' on here and thought I'd like to learn to play that. Went to my subscriptions and there was your video at the very top! Weird but welcome! And a great tut' - thanks :)
Really like your Robbie William covers would be great if you could teach those! Once again thankyou!!! From A very Green Ireland on St Paddies DayyYYY!!
Thx, very nice!!! Keep up the good work, CHAPEAU!
With kind regards, Morris

yeah its a D7 after the d minor in the chorus.........but that was a great tutorial glad i found your page
jaredwins89 4 months ago
@jaredwins89 That's what I thought at first, but the E string is open, so he is actually playing a D9th chord.

InformedMisery 1 year ago
@InformedMisery I actually based my tutorial on Lennon's acoustic version. I'm pretty sure he doesn't play the Am/F# there, but I could be wrong.
