  • Whoever says FF XII doesn't require strategy havn't faced Zodiark.

  • 1. I wouldn't say "idiot," but you used a loaded definition & twisted semantics to fit it. They are not the same system. X is true turn-based with the addition of seeing & affecting the turn order, XII is ATB with the addition of limited movement abilities.

    2. In my response to your defense, I forgot a problem: The Guide Damn Its. You practically NEED a strategy guide of some sort to know how to trigger things like Esper attacks & the Zodiac Spear. Another way you don't actually PLAY XII.

  • 1. it is hard to explain

    2. I agree with that

  • No, I know what you meant. Trouble is, it's wordplay. You do, in essence, have an infinite amount of time to plan your gambits. However, what if you have the gambits turned off? There are times when it becomes necessary to do that.

Similarly, even in action RPs, the enemies will only take action after a certain amount of time has passed. In effect, they are programmed to take "turns." That doesn't make it a turn-based system.

Every game is going to boil down to a turn dynamic at some point.

  • I could have swore I commented on this video... but it doesn't show, strange.

  • so about that comment when i said i was not a homophobe that was my stupid mate and besides if you are so what it means nothing man keep up the good work

  • it's really not about sexuality

  • i know i said that was my mate i said that

  • FF12 is turn-based yes but how you defined a turn-based game was stupid.

  • Good response. Also, yes I understood what you were saying throughout the video. Might make a response later.
