Turks are all lies they think that the coffee name is theres but it's not . It's Armenian or Arabic coffee. Malem John u did a good job when making but b4 u add sugar the water has to be boiling then add ur sugar and coffee .
I don't know where you get your ''better'' arabic/turkish coffee, but I got mine from Turkey, grinded by the man himself at the store and not from Brazil, be sure you get the right coffee.
@92Lithium I'm sure the stuff you get in Turkey is great, especially if it's hand ground. The one I usually get is called Cafe Najjar, made in Lebanon, but if I remember correctly it claims the beans are from brazil. Al Fakher actually has some, it's available on my website, and I am sure it's just a private label from a Lebanese coffee like Cafe Najjar. It's not bad.
@HeeM888 Turkish? ur retarded. This is what i find funny about turks they dont know their history. this coffee was from the bizantine. In other words GREEK. stop spreading lies, i've had enough with your nation and its bullshit.
AntoineLubnan is right. And by the way, you shold NEVER stir your coffee with a metal spoon. ALWAYS use wood. Try it, you'll feel the difference in taste.
Nice video, this is one way of making Arab coffee, there are other ways also and neither is right or wrong. Some people add the water and sugar and coffee and let it sit on a low flame till it foams. This creates a very intense, deep flavor and also allows you to scoop the foam into the cups.
Hi,actually Egyptians do boil their tea,so do Indians and Pakistanis.Indians make it with milk and spices and Egyptians boil it and serve it very sweet. The Western way of only steeping teas is like the Chinese and Japanese but other cultures have different methods.Arabs may boil their tea for a bit or let it simmer over a flame.
don't forget: after you make the coffee, cover the pot with a saucer so it will stay warm, and then let it sit for a about a minute and a half so all of the coffee grounds will settle to the bottom of the pot. that way you'll be drinking the coffee, and not eating it

@HeeM888 I don't dwell on that issue. anyhow, the better arabic/turkish coffees read "made in brazil" on them, so how's that for you?;)

@HeeM888 The Arabs were the first people to EVER cultivate and use coffee. The Turks then took over Arabia taking coffee and calling it Turkish.

He did it right, Egyptian. Everyone knows you don't boil tea leaves, you steep them or they get bitter. Doofus.
