Even though Flyer fans are obnoxious ,they have a great fanbase. Even when the team has a down year, the wachovia/wells fargo center is packed and loud. Like someone else said earlier, the pens and blackhawks fans didn't care when their team lost. I'm a Caps fan but I admit mci/verizon center was a ghost town before Ovie arrived. Since their inception in 1967-68 the Flyers have won 1867 games, with 1340 losses, 457 ties, and 70 OL. Penguins (just as old): 1528 wins, 1585 losses, 383 ties, and 56 OL. There you go, we're better. And world class team? We beat the USSR's team. How? By beating the piss out of them on the forecheck.
