Is it just me, or do you get really hyped up seeing all this, but really disappointed when you hear about things like 'teleport' and 'disguise' etc. I mean disguise would be ok, if you actually put a cloak over yourself or something - but magicly turning from male to female for 10 seconds really puts me off. I want to fight legit using stealth, swords and daggers.. none of this random sci-fi nonsense. It really doesn't need it.

@r0flowned They've sped up the climbing and killing, and each character is far more customisable. There are also more game modes. Yeah, the initial game play is the same, but so's Call of Duty, and virtually every other FPS. Assassin's Creed focuses more on the story of the single-player mode.
I'm a massive fan of Assassin's Creed. And for me, it's all about the story. And because of this I love both Single-Player and Multiplayer because they're both key parts of the story. If you weren't such an ignorant sheep, then you'd realise this. Care to disagree? Then take it up with a developer of AC and you'll find that they'll agree with me. I recommended watching Gbiese podcasts on it.

Multiplayer is a new addition (extremely enjoyable may I add) and therefore needs more revising and tweaking, while the single-player just needs a few new features and some edits.

And Revelations MP, going off the beta, will be even better. Whats More is that the MP is made by a completely separate team (and I pretty sure that team is on a completely different country)

in CoD/Halo i prefer multiplayer there will probably be a few levels i like but the multiplayer is everything in those types of games in Assassins creed/GTA i dont really care about multiplayer.
A strong multiplayer aspect is important for game longevity nowadays. Be happy that we're seeing so much effort into both aspects of the game, because ignoring either one could do damage in the long run.
The single player and multiplayer parts of the game both look amazing so far. I'm really looking forward to playing in a little over a week.
id like to say that assassins creed is made by multiple teams under ubisoft and only a section of the teams do multiplayer and other sections do singleplayer mainly ubi montreal. They never put more effort into any one thing

to the people bashing the MP. i can see why you get angry, AC has always been about the solid SP experience and adding MP for a second year may seem like they are drifting away from the Story but you have to remember that a separate part of Ubisoft develop the MP so enough hating, its unique, rewarding and requires patience and strategy, how many MP games can you name that actually give you any of that?

Brotherhoods Multiplayer was enjoyed by me more thoroughly than the Singlplayer. And I hated the Idea of MP in the game until they showed it at E3 and I gave it a try

@davidgfmg its not "a history in the Templars perspective", it's a way of training employees of Abstergo/The Templars in tracking down and killing the Assassins. That's a different thing.

@babyjohnjameson they can't really put more effort into one or the other. im pretty sure single player is developed by one Ubisoft studio, and multiplayer is developed by another studio. so both are worked on equally. but AC was always been about singleplayer and the storyline, multiplayer is just a nice nice bonus

While you go through the single-player, if you play the multiplayer at the same time; it gives you a better understanding of the Templar side of things. In this multiplayer they give you actual story pieces into how the Templar mind works.
@Ninjakeeper69 the story mode is awesome but I think that Ubisoft stumbled on something greater than what they imagined with the multiplayer. Multiplayer is as big as the story mode in my opinion it's just the first of it's kind and has really only been around for a year. Just like the shooters I think "stealthy" multiplayer will just get better. Imagine if you got "knife upgrades" the more you used the knife. Or better "leaping abilities" the more you performed "areal kills." Just some thought.

Goddammit, the game isn't even out yet and people are already complaining that multiplayer is ruining the storyline. Just freaking wait until the game is released and until you've played it. Ubisoft isn't retarded, they're not going to ruin the story.

I liked the multiplayer in brotherhood but teleportation........that is kinda really kinda imba..........but I am not buying Assassin Creed for multiplayer but for the story :D and I don't think its ruining the story but yes teleportation should be removed because it's gay. I like all the other ideas but tele not really....

@davidgfmg its not "a history in the Templars perspective", it's a way of training employees of Abstergo/The Templars in tracking down and killing the Assassins. That's a different thing.
I don't mind multiplayer per se, but I do mind that AC:B's singleplayer was way too short, probably because of the effort put into multiplayer.

@babyjohnjameson they can't really put more effort into one or the other. im pretty sure single player is developed by one Ubisoft studio, and multiplayer is developed by another studio. so both are worked on equally. but AC was always been about singleplayer and the storyline, multiplayer is just a nice nice bonus

While you go through the single-player, if you play the multiplayer at the same time; it gives you a better understanding of the Templar side of things. In this multiplayer they give you actual story pieces into how the Templar mind works.

@Ninjakeeper69 the story mode is awesome but I think that Ubisoft stumbled on something greater than what they imagined with the multiplayer. Multiplayer is as big as the story mode in my opinion it's just the first of it's kind and has really only been around for a year. Just like the shooters I think "stealthy" multiplayer will just get better. Imagine if you got "knife upgrades" the more you used the knife. Or better "leaping abilities" the more you performed "areal kills." Just some thought.

@maxwelllorow yeah I know multiplayer is awesome. It is really good, i will admit. its a great change from other multiplayer games. This is why I love AC so much. great story line, different gameplay, something that no other game has. I cant even bring myself around to playing another game.
