@phazon55 All Forsaken operations are set in motion by Sylvanas. She even ordered the plague strikes against Gilneas with the words "Let the Gilneans enjoy their small victory. Not even their bones will remain by tomorrow". Besides, poison is not the same thing. Poison kills you, but doesn't resurrect you as an undead robbed of all vestiges of free will.
Godfrey had free will, he killed Sylvanas. The plague doesnt' resurrect anything, that's the valkyir. So the plague=poison, which rogues use, which is not illegal except by Garrosh, who doesn't have the intelligence to do anything else anyway. Garrosh is not the horde, he is a false leader who everyone else in the horde hates and only follows because of Thralls wishes, eventually, he will be removed because of his stupidity.

Having done it for about 8 times with horde characters I thought I would be able to do this quest with Alliance as well. And now, after standing before Alexstrasza after the battle at Angarthar I was disappointed to see, she had no quest and that the quest was patched away.

@Cardboredbawx still, i don't think raid groups full of regular citizens of azeroth should have access to major lore characters. they should only be able to kill characters that di nto exist in pre-wow warcraft. that's why when it was ragnaros and nefarion it was ok, but reducing kel'thuzad, illidan and arthas to getting killed by raids is not right. i'd rather let the story play out and watch them get killed by the faction leaders and other major lore characters. just like archimonde's death.

Anyway overall it gets at one of the bigger problems I ever had with WoW - it's really pretty one-dimensional. The factions hate eachother and there's never anything else. I know it's in the name (WARcraft) but I wish there was a game that allowed more player-based flexibility in that respect
If you look at beginning of video you can see Valeer Sanguinar and Broll Bearmantle, a Blood elf and Night elf from the time in which King Varian Wrynn (aka Lo'Gosh) along with Valeera Sanguinar and Broll Bearmantle were captured by orcs and forced to into gladiator competition. Valeer Sanguinar being one of his closest friends from those days.

The Blood Elves aren't going to join the same faction as the Night Elves, obviously, and that would require them to go against the Forsaken, of whom they are very close. The Ogres and Naga are less intelligent races; which makes them unlikely to join anywhere. May as well have the Murlocs join the Horde?
That last part was... confusing; and since you are likely not to read this, cbf trying to understand.
The Naga are actually a very cunning and clever race, they too were once Kal'dorei as surely as the sin'dorei (quel'dorei) were once. Their queen is Azshar, for which the zone Azshara was named, she was once Queen of Kalimdor, and a Kal'dorei herself. She and the highborne fell prey to Sargeras' corruption however, resulting in their seemingly ultimate downfall.

the horde have seen that, done that.... they do not want any war right now (but in cata, when garrosh becomes the new leader there will be much more alliance vs horde action as he always seeks war with the alliance).... thrall can kick varian's ass of course because he is the world's strongest shaman and varian keeps getting solo'd by protadins. and if i was in blizz, i would have made it so the people that founded orgrimmar will be the leaders (rexxar, rokhan,varok and so on...)

Horde are not the bad guys. I mean they were in Warcraft 1 and 2 but they were forced to be bad and told to be bad by either demonic corruption or what not. Recently the Horde has escaped the Demonic corruption such as orcs and now become good, The Alliance are still stuck in the past thinking about what the orcs did to em in warcraft 1 and 2 when the orcs were still under the demonic influence.

@phazon55 All Forsaken operations are set in motion by Sylvanas. She even ordered the plague strikes against Gilneas with the words "Let the Gilneans enjoy their small victory. Not even their bones will remain by tomorrow". Besides, poison is not the same thing. Poison kills you, but doesn't resurrect you as an undead robbed of all vestiges of free will.

Godfrey had free will, he killed Sylvanas. The plague doesnt' resurrect anything, that's the valkyir. So the plague=poison, which rogues use, which is not illegal except by Garrosh, who doesn't have the intelligence to do anything else anyway. Garrosh is not the horde, he is a false leader who everyone else in the horde hates and only follows because of Thralls wishes, eventually, he will be removed because of his stupidity.

@phazon55 like to point out that thrall allowed the forsakern into the horde having killed garithos and all the alliance troops in warcraft 3. and his peoplr hold gladiator fights sometimes to the death with many slaves in orgrimmar. Thrall does hold some responcibility here

@phazon55 wow comic, vaian and his friends kill some ogre champions, and their are some other fights. Also they get to go Orgrimmar to pick an item fom the halls of legends. Rehgar was his slavemaster and became thralls advisor.
Also Garithos was a douche I will agree and racist, and I do not like him punishing the blood elf soldiers but Sylvannas agreed he could have the city, she killed him and all his men, and thrall let her join the horde. Varian has good reason to be peed at Thrall

I also doubt that Thrall knew about Sylvanas and her acts torwards Garithos, regardless, she problably knew about his acts against the high elves and chose to kill him anyway.

@phazon55 Varianwas captured by defias and was split in two by a spell. Onyxia wanted him captured and killed. He drifted into mulgore and was found by Rhegar who enslaved him, at this time he had no memory
Also Sylvannas in warcraft 3 had only just broken free of the scourge and instantly went after Arthas for vengence, and even if Garithos punished Kael'thas and his soldiers, the entire army did not deserve to be killed. Also Kael'thas accepted help from naga twice who nearly blew the world up

Thank you for recording and cutting together this video with it original audio. It seems I waited for too long to get to this quest. Having done it for about 8 times with horde characters I thought I would be able to do this quest with Alliance as well. And now, after standing before Alexstrasza after the battle at Angarthar I was disappointed to see, she had no quest and that the quest was patched away.
Anyway, where was Malfurion during the battle and who was this blood elf at the beginning?

@Cardboredbawx still, i don't think raid groups full of regular citizens of azeroth should have access to major lore characters. they should only be able to kill characters that di nto exist in pre-wow warcraft. that's why when it was ragnaros and nefarion it was ok, but reducing kel'thuzad, illidan and arthas to getting killed by raids is not right. i'd rather let the story play out and watch them get killed by the faction leaders and other major lore characters. just like archimonde's death.

@Cardboredbawx it's true his experiences have been less than optimal. I would also cite that Thrall had some shitty times in alliance captivity but it seems like he exhibits more temperance. Just a feeling.
Anyway overall it gets at one of the bigger problems I ever had with WoW - it's really pretty one-dimensional. The factions hate eachother and there's never anything else. I know it's in the name (WARcraft) but I wish there was a game that allowed more player-based flexibility in that respect

If you look at beginning of video you can see Valeer Sanguinar and Broll Bearmantle, a Blood elf and Night elf from the time in which King Varian Wrynn (aka Lo'Gosh) along with Valeera Sanguinar and Broll Bearmantle were captured by orcs and forced to into gladiator competition. Valeer Sanguinar being one of his closest friends from those days.

The Blood Elves aren't going to join the same faction as the Night Elves, obviously, and that would require them to go against the Forsaken, of whom they are very close. The Ogres and Naga are less intelligent races; which makes them unlikely to join anywhere. May as well have the Murlocs join the Horde?

The Naga are actually a very cunning and clever race, they too were once Kal'dorei as surely as the sin'dorei (quel'dorei) were once. Their queen is Azshar, for which the zone Azshara was named, she was once Queen of Kalimdor, and a Kal'dorei herself. She and the highborne fell prey to Sargeras' corruption however, resulting in their seemingly ultimate downfall.

the horde have seen that, done that.... they do not want any war right now (but in cata, when garrosh becomes the new leader there will be much more alliance vs horde action as he always seeks war with the alliance).... thrall can kick varian's ass of course because he is the world's strongest shaman and varian keeps getting solo'd by protadins. and if i was in blizz, i would have made it so the people that founded orgrimmar will be the leaders (rexxar, rokhan,varok and so on...)

@kerend98 I agree, Garrosh is kind of a liability. He is like the orc version of Varian who hates the opposite faction and wants to destroy it. Thrall is more of a diplomat and doesn't want war, just wants for his people to survive. I really hope Garrosh won't be the horde version of Varian. I hate that scrub.
Alliance needs to get over themselves and move on. Orcs are not the bad guys. Thrall is much more altruistic than any florking Alliance leader.

Horde are not the bad guys. I mean they were in Warcraft 1 and 2 but they were forced to be bad and told to be bad by either demonic corruption or what not. Recently the Horde has escaped the Demonic corruption such as orcs and now become good, The Alliance are still stuck in the past thinking about what the orcs did to em in warcraft 1 and 2 when the orcs were still under the demonic influence.
