@BlueEagle. I absorbed the 50K, so I did take responsiblity. I have done everything right, paid my bills, kept my credit up and got a home loan that was not a high risk loan like the government forced banks to make.

I "decided" to buy and sell when I did b/c my then husband took a job in TX b/c the economy went south up north. Due to the economy and housing collapse his company would not buy our house.

The point is those of us on the front end lose big, b/c of the actions of others.

If you get your "news" from the major networks and papers, you are getting the same lies and propaganda that got us in this mess in the first place. Rick is spot-on. Those banks deserved to fail, our tax dollars went down a rathole, never to be seen again. The inspiration for the tea party movement was not Rick Santelli, it actually was Ron Paul.

Google Tea Party 2007 and you will go to a Ron Paul website. Ron Paul supporters were having tea party before it was cool. Ron Paul supporters were against bailouts and stimulus packages before it was cool. Ron Paul supporters were against deficit spending before it was cool. Ron Paul supporters were constitutionalists before it was cool.

It wasn't Ron Paul per say that called for the Tea Parties. He inspired them. It was the supports, as you said, that had the idea for the Tea Parties. I don't know which one, but it was probably some post on Daily Paul or Ron Paul Forums.
