look how they laugh him off. these guys new they were fucked and all they could do was laugh!!! How guilty does a mother fucker have to be folks????!!!!!
I'm not saying this because of Santelli's beliefs, but I seriously think he has a mental illness of some sort considering his behaviour on television...
@jtrue71 , you are seriously dilluted if you believe what you have said.
"brainless hacks" What like Bush? He reminds me of a hack. Two wars with no agenda besides "kill terrorists" that dont even live in the countries were invading. Oh tax cuts to the rich and wealthy that were not paid for, no child left behind not paid for, medicare part D not paid for.
Hack Hack Hack. Gee what did GWB do? Keep us safe? 9-11 happened on his watch!!! A plane into the Pentagon? Ya right!!!! Were so weak.!
@Omegatide I'm not quite sure what your ranting about. We agree. The government, any government, should not do things it doesn't pay for. Bush is a moron. So is Obama, because they were/are both spending us to ruin. The point is that worthless media hacks ignore the people who are saying, "STOP SPENDING OUR MONEY!"
@omegatide I'm a Libertarian because individual liberty and small government are what made the U.S. a great nation. The further we drift from that, the worse our problems become. The Republocrats are two wings of the same one party rule that is systematically destroying the U.S.
He was actually making the establishment mouthpieces uncomfortable. You can tell when something is not scripted and the scum in the studio were genuinely annoyed he mentioned the protest outside that morning.
Funny how Steve, or anyone else on the set doesn't have the intestinal fortitude or backbone to agree with Rick. Go Mr.Santelli!!!! I support everything you say, because you speak the truth.
@BlueEagle. I absorbed the 50K, so I did take responsiblity. I have done everything right, paid my bills, kept my credit up and got a home loan that was not a high risk loan like the government forced banks to make.
I "decided" to buy and sell when I did b/c my then husband took a job in TX b/c the economy went south up north. Due to the economy and housing collapse his company would not buy our house.
The point is those of us on the front end lose big, b/c of the actions of others.
If you get your "news" from the major networks and papers, you are getting the same lies and propaganda that got us in this mess in the first place. Rick is spot-on. Those banks deserved to fail, our tax dollars went down a rathole, never to be seen again. Those same crimes will invariably be repeated for the very reason that there was zero cost associated with their failures. Clearly the government is so incestuously involved in banking & finance, it cannot be trusted to unbiasedly regulate.
Thank you Rick Santelli! I was so happy the first time I heard you let loose about the bailout. I lost 50K on selling a house, thanks to the gov't. I absorbed it, I'm okay.
The inspiration for the tea party movement was not Rick Santelli, it actually was Ron Paul.
Google Tea Party 2007 and you will go to a Ron Paul website. Ron Paul supporters were having tea party before it was cool. Ron Paul supporters were against bailouts and stimulus packages before it was cool. Ron Paul supporters were against deficit spending before it was cool. Ron Paul supporters were constitutionalists before it was cool.
So you don't think raising millions on one day for a candidate that wants the federal government to adhere to the principles of the Constitution a protest? A protest does not necessarily have to be a meeting of folks holding signs.
Like I said Ron Paul was having tea parties before it was cool.
It wasn't Ron Paul per say that called for the Tea Parties. He inspired them. It was the supports, as you said, that had the idea for the Tea Parties. I don't know which one, but it was probably some post on Daily Paul or Ron Paul Forums.
Great, Santelli, take on the idiots at the old irrelevant channel. I saw this only on YouTube, never watch channel 60 any more. Switched to Fox long ago.
Can't you, guys, get it that differences of opinion are plain bankrupt? What we need is the truth, due diligence in the search for truth, and admission of errors when evidence does show up.
you sound like a moronic child. A blind follower like a sheep one might say. He is a loser because he didnt get the coverage he wanted if he was a patriot he would not be on fucking CNBC
RICK IS THE MAN!!!! The rest of the guys in the studio are Obama lovers. The banks took the money, not give loans. The banks tooks the Tarp and gave the americans the middle finger. Long live the free market.

Forced by the goverment????

@sleepdepraved1 Banks were never forced to do anything they did not want to.
DID you come up with this yourself or are you repeating what you have heard?

We probalby agree on many things, perhaps one of those is personal responsibility.
It was not the government's fault you lost money. It was yours.
The government and Fed manipulated the markets (FRN, Real Estate, Stock, Bond, Gold, etc) but you decided to buy and sell when you did.

That's not true. The Ron Paul thing was a money bomb on the memorial of Tea Party day, not a protest.
