@MsXRAY5000 Hayley Mills did play both parts, but Susan Henning was like a double - she played the parts as well, but wasn't shown on screen (not "for real", only in over-the-shoulder-shots and such, when you only needed to see the face of one twin. Hayley of course needed an actual person to act against, then they'd switch clothes, do the scene again with opposite roles and then they'd eventually cut it it together so it'd look like Hayley played both parts, or, like they were actually twins

It;s one of the only few places in the USA where they sound slightly British. Hope that answered your question :D
