Stop comparing this to skyrim. Besides, it was made by the oblivion lead designer, so there is going to be a lot of similarity in that aspect. But the games are totally different. KoA is a lot more fun than skyrim in my opinion, but it's impossible to compare the two.

Because, for the life of me, I don't know why open world first/third person games, with quests and crafting and skill choices and sneaking and armour sets and weapon sets and dungeons and alchemy and NPC's and the ability to be Thief, Mage or Warrior and exploration and monsters to combat have become Action-RPG's when for 20 years they were called RPG's! Especially when you have the Mass Effects, with practically none of the above RPG features, being called Action-RPG's too! Very strange!

Yes it doesnt look as good, but it plays so much better. combat is amazing and fun, and leveling up grants new moves to use, whereas in skyrim you're just making a sword attack stronger (skyrim is still a great game)

So combat gets more fun as u lvl, and plot is great
