The treasure was actually found in 1953. It was secretly moved to 54 Light Street and hidden behind a wall in the basement. The building was razed after a crack house fire and the treasure was never found. Some say a tunnel was dug between 54 Light Street and the St Michaels Hall where the treasure is hidden from view behind he main bar mirror this day. I tend to beleive that it is still in the mysterious building accross from 77 West Neptune that "claimed at one time to store Funeral Hearses.
when did they close off dungeon rock? I remember when that used to be open along with the stone tower where I used to shake the shit out of the metal stairs on my friend! They also blocked odd the stone lookout tower at mount hood golf course in Melrose. Oh well
Back in the 80s you could go offroading in here because the gates were unlocked, it was full of burned/dumped cars and dudes with mullets driving Broncos and K5 Blazers going "yah d00d"
It was awesome! Cool it's cleaned up now..shame they're building that terrible looking development behind Kelly Jeep now though.
I use to walk the trails of Lynn Woods often when I lived near by for a number of years. This was a very pleasent surprise to find on You Tube. It's been 7 years since I moved here to Vegas. Thank you for this post! It is most appreciated.

Technically, it was "buried" only when the earthquake hit and killed to two pirates.
The treasure would be any materials or coinage the two had on them, since apparently they were living and running a buisness out of the cave.
