  • Miss you Bill xxxx

  • thank you for the apology, know that I know it´s not all of you

  • check out my bill hicks tribute :)

  • I'm french and I love Bill Hicks. I love how he fucks with Jackie Onassis at the end. Also, I often wondered what christians would have carried around their neck if Jesus had been impaled.

It's reassuring, because as a cheese-eating surrender monkey I believed the US was inhabited by morons only.

    Kidding :)

  • @Brent5154 Except for the Americans themselves.

  • Youtube comment section philosophy.....

  • i love reading the comments, it really does show who's smarter than the others...

those who hate on bill are ignorant and stupid,

those who agree with him are always the smartest ahha i love it

  • @notwack thats a silly thing to think.

  • Too bad he's dead...one of the all-time greats

  • YOU THINK WHEN JESUS COMES BACK, HE EVER WANTS TO SEE A FUCKING CROSS ?

  • Comment removed

  • check out my channel for the best of bill hicks

  • Lol. Yeah, I don't think Jesus wants to see millions of crosses everywhere. It might bring back some bad memories...

  • 2:50 onwards, amaze!

  • Brilliant. Thank you Bill Hicks..world needs more people like you

  • He's just not that funny. He's trying to make a serious point rather than make people laugh.

  • @MrOdsplut

He's funny in a cynical, sarcastic kinda way. I think that's why he was so popular in the UK and Australia, because we love that kind of dark humor.

  • Ey Mr. Funny Man, comere. This is how to start a brawl.

  • Ey buddy, comere!!!!!!!

  • smartest man going....

  • @fuckmania07. HahahahahahahahHa look at your name you idiot!!!

  • comere

  • as a christian myself bill makes some good points, but overall he is wrong and probably burning in hell next to George Carlin, i hope not there are such things called death bed conversions.

  • @WRETCHEDxSINNER wow, ironic username for a Christian...

So you truly believe that whether or not someone is a good person isn't what decides them going to heaven or hell? The kiddie-diddling priest who accepted God will go to heaven, but an atheist who was a good person won't...?

  • @WRETCHEDxSINNER So people who spend lifetimes making people laugh and making them think get eternal punishment and those who do nothing but blindly follow without evidence get eternal reward. Gee whizz, what a fair system...

  • @WRETCHEDxSINNER "as a christian".. haha, why not rather start with "as a hypocrite", because thats what you are..

  • @IneffableLifestyle I'm not defending anyone, but did you honestly just generalize the religion of a billion people into 1 simple word? There's a word for that, and it's a lot worse than 'hypocrisy'.

On the other hand, I love Bill Hicks.

  • @ugevon1000 No I didn't. Christians are alot more then just hypocritical. They can be loving and caring, cruel and harming, but they are all hypocritical and they shouldnt pretend to be otherwise.

  • @IneffableLifestyle seeing as how you have clearly met every Christian on the planet, I'm certain you are qualified to make such a statement.

  • @ugevon1000 i can sum all the religions into a word.....BORING

  • @PracticeMakesAwesome Modern religions, maybe. Ancient religions, definitely not!

  • @Atheneastro uh yeah boring sorry.

  • @PracticeMakesAwesome That's your opinion.

  • @IneffableLifestyle Jim Jefferies FTW!

  • @IneffableLifestyle Coz they're trying to hide that fact from dumbshits...

  • @WRETCHEDxSINNER Oh fuck off

  • Miss you Bill, we need you now more than ever, guessing you know that...

  • @TheRiceowlex Why do you need him now? He said what had to be said, the rest is up to you. He planted the seed, you need to make it grow

  • Bill Hicks made the best gun sounds I have ever heard.

  • I'm a Mormon and I think he's hilarious. And by the way, we Mormons don't wear the cross for the same reason he talks about.

  • The comments section of this video serves as proof why Youtube is a very, very poor place to discuss deeper things in life. That's why I'll save my thoughts for a better occasion. You guys are pretty pathetic.

  • @HarpoTheVillain Actually, it is an excellent place to discuss numerous points of view, not the least of which is pointing out the ridiculous beliefs of organized religion.

I was a Christian for twenty years and my parents sent me to Christian schools. Becoming more familiar with my Bible (and religion in general) resulted in my apostasy.

  • @CynicalSkeptic1 No, it's not. Not only is it not a good place for discussing deeper things because most Youtube users tend to be immature dicks happy in their ignorance and/or just minor kids. It is also not a good place for these discussions because of technical reasons. These boards are hard to navigate and use, and comments tend to drown with no chance to resurface as time passes.

Me, I've been a life-long Christian, and religious hypocrisy has only bolstered my faith.

  • @HarpoTheVillain I would agree that the boards are hard to navigate and use but I have had people read my comments a year after I post...so they don't "drown with no chance to resurface".

Anyhow, the biblical god doesn't appear to exist. He is a relic from mankind's infancy. There is no more reason to believe in the biblical god than any of the other thousands of gods mankind has invented throughout the ages...especially when the Bible is filled with a plethora of contradictions to science.

  • bill hicks was in zeitgeist the movie..

  • Olbermann sent me as well....glad he did.

  • may be ants see us as gods, may be they pray to us for sugar cube.

  • keith olbermann sent me. how did i miss this guy? watching more...

  • WATCH (at your own risk sensitive religious people) > "Frankie Boyle on religion"

    /watch?v=i8rLIT0RFGQ

  • I was born into a Christian Irish Family in Ireland and nobody here takes Religion as serious as some crazy American brainwashed Christian families ive met or heard about, If anything most people I know would agree with Bill Hicks and/or recognise at least he is a COMEDIAN!!!

  • @hrte2hrte Fundies make Americans look so retarded. As an American, I apologize for my imbecilic countrymen and hope they don't reproduce.

  • @TheExtinctSpecie No need for an apology,TV does a lot of the time make America out to be something it's not and mocks. As it such a large/vast land each state you could say is it's own country! what im trying to say is America has the biggest, smallest, weirdest, nicest, over the top, close minded, open minded, non Friendly, Friendly(best of both worlds) etc etc! If you haven't seen it yet watch "Steven Fry in America" It shows America in the light it deserves! if you need link just ask

  • @TheExtinctSpecie I think I read your reply wrong? I didnt know what fundies meant lol, I would see why you would want to apologize lol! my reply was too broad in that case, but I still think it's true!

  • @TheExtinctSpecie Nobody Makes the Americans look retarded

  • @hrte2hrte It certainly seems as though here in Ireland we're much more capable of laughing at religion than some in the States. It's strange that we're that way given the stranglehold the Catholic Church had on Ireland for decades. I guess because the US is so massive and there are so many different communities there, it's more likely that there'll be extremists. Ireland is much smaller and we're a much more tight-nit, singular community, and thus more likely to have the same attitudes.

  • @ChickenGoujons yeah good points! I think it's good we can have a sense of humour on religion, but maybe not some of our older generations though lol? obviously I would presume the ratio of Christian Extremists in America would be slim compared to normal practising Christians... Btw I dont have a particular Religion per say but I would say I would consider myself as spiritual but I dont know what that falls under

  • The pancreas and the liver are two different things, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was put out. There's youtubes of Michael Jackson speaking out against the ruling class just before his death. Bob marley, Kennedy, Gandhi all people whose very existence strongly promoted independent thought. That kind of thing leads to recalcitrance or maybe even... Free thought.

  • i miss bill

  • Illuminati took care of this guy for sure.

  • @SilentCodeify So Illuminati gave him liver cancer? Rrrrrrrright....

  • @murdock283 Red pill for the liver, orange one for the brain. How can you not know that ?

  • @murdock283 Could've easily been a cover story. The public never knew he had liver cancer until he was already dead. And I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard for the secret society to threaten his family and friends to lie as well.

This guy made a career of opening up people's eyes to the reality we live in. Come on.

    [Just a theory]

  • @SilentCodeify If you really believe that, then you are a fucking idiot.

  • 1:18 ...

  • I'm an atheist yet I see no problem in people believing in a God of some kind. As long as their beliefs do not interfere with anyone else's life than I think it's no big deal to be honest. Especially if believing in a higher power gives hope and meaning to their lives. I have to admit, I believe my nihilistic views do contribute to my depression. I envy people that are capable of devoting their lives to something they cannot see with their eyes, but can feel with their hearts.

  • "Religious people say there is a God, and atheists say that there is no God... they are both missing the Truth."

Google "Truth contest" and read the entry called The Present. You'll see what I mean.

  • God in any form is for people who are too weak to believe in themselves--if people took half the amount of time, money and effort that they spend on religion and put it towards believing in themselves they would achieve far greater things in life.

  • from 1:51 when he mentioned Pat Robertson, and Jesus coming back with an uzi!

That one flew right over that audiences heads but I think its hillarious especially after listening to Frank Zappa - Jesus thinks you're a jerk

  • @SuperTruth77 You are deluded. There is no God. There is no HELL. For a God to make someone burn eternally in the pit of hell is just sick and sadistic. As a matter of fact thats supposed to be the kiind of crap Satan would get off on - torturing someone!!!

This does not compute Will Robinson!!

So the whole thing about a loving and forgiving God is contradictory to everything you just said. This is the whole problem with Religion - its nothing but hypocracy from beginning to end.

  • Look, I KNOW exactly what Heaven is like, as I visited there FOR REAL 3yrs ago after I was nearly killed in a car accident.

It’s BAD NEWS for everyone I’m afraid. God has become so annoyed with our endless sin that he has gone into a sulk & turned his back on humanity. We’re now ALL doomed to eternal hellfire, no matter what we do here on Earth. I tried to argue that this wasn’t fair, but he would not listen.

Basically, we can all do what we like with our life because it makes NO DIFFERENCE.

  • 'm christian, and i think this is so honest in the most non offensives way

  • Rest in peace, Bill Hicks. You are very missed. What I wouldn't do to have been able to have a drink with him and just listened to whatever he happened to have on his mind at that given time. I'd bet a billion that whatever it was, in that night I would come away far enlightened than in all my years of school, work and the occasional church visits.

  • Fuck religion. Let science lead the way.

  • whats the point of everyone arguing over THEIR OWN beliefs? you shouldnt have to prove each other otherwise. if you truly trust your self that's all that matters. none of us get out of this life alive anyways so this is all kinda pointless. just watch the video and enjoy what bill hicks has to offer. i think hes super hilarious and has life experience and knowledge behind his jokes. very good man!!!

  • Fantastic to see that every intelligent youtube video is accompanied by atheists putting religion in its rightful place. Long live the Hitch.

  • the bible does have a centerfold, its called Song of Solomon

  • okay on religion. its an act of faith and belief. im agnostic. raised goodie goodie christian. but with religion. im sorry.... seriously? why argue over something such as this... i know right to free speech, you gotta accept what others say yada yada yada. but you cant argue if those religion fanatics are trully religious.... if thats how they see it, fine. okay. who gives a rats ass!

to argue with religion - think of star wars.... luke used the force, han solo doubted it, but since luke believ

  • @theamericanmike135 believed it, what obi wan say? it surrounds us, penetrates us, its in all living things.... like religion....

not to aruge against religious ppl!!!! hey, even if an atheist does confront you and starts giving you shit, wasn't it jebus who said to turn the other cheek? and to still love thy neighbor? - 10 commandments, if yall must argue the religion debate, in my opinion its a matter in ones self. and who cares what the other side thinks? im atheist im catholic, who cares

  • Am I the only person here who could not give a shit about the social implications the stuff he's saying is and I just like it becuase it's hilarious?

  • thumbs up if you fuck those three rednecks!

  • Comment removed

  • @KoljiSK Because god loves him. That makes perfect sense.

  • @KoljiSK

You are a shining example of why all Christians and any other person who thinks religion is relevant or important, should be beaten to death. Amen

  • @FatLadyKiller

Yes, we should kill every Christian. MLK, all the Christians who work at soup kitchens and homeless shelters, people who sacrifice the possibility of making money to educate poor people, Bill Hicks' parents most likely, let's kill them all.

  • @heatbucspies55

None of those things have a thing to do with the insane stranglehold christians labor to put on the world or the ridiculous hate, the judgemental aspect of their fairy tale, all the super negative things that far out weigh the positive

  • @FatLadyKiller

The difference between my comment and your is I actually gave examples of how it has been good, yours just uses rhetoric but doesn't actually say what's bad about it.

And I'm not dumb, I know a lot of bad things have happened in the name of Christianity. But the guy I was responding to said we should "Kill all Christians" which is pretty ridiculous. The idea that religion is pure evil and all religious people are bad is so ridicuous too. Even Bill Hicks didn't think that.

  • @FatLadyKiller I am christian, I do agree that many christians take their beliefs too far, but really that's with ANY religion, even atheists. There have been incidents where atheists have bombed churches, there have been christians who have bombed places "in the name of christ", muslims, hindus, pretty much every religion you can think of has people who take it too far. I wouldn't say that religion is the cause of hate in the world, it's the people who use it as an excuse to do bad things :/

  • @KoljiSK having a sense of humor is of course a sin. laughing is a sin. coherent thoughts are in fact sins. come to think of it, intelligence is a sin. so thought must be sinful. that would explain you. you are the best disciple ever man. you must have been there with Jesus to know exactly what he taught. and you must have talked with God himself to know exactly what he wants for us.

  • @KoljiSK so what your saying is, if for example a 17 year old kid makes a joke about his dad, the dad should kill his child? you fundamentalistic christians are fucking sick who just wont believe it, or the good examples of why your hypocrite, bastard god dont exist! you people think your everything good in this world, but actually you are a disease on this planet and raping it!

  • @jhpv89 Amen to that brother.

  • @jhpv89 that is so much hate though. u have a good point...but look at the truth in the bible not the 90% of it that is a lie...

  • @jhpv89 Chill. I'm a christian myself, and yet I enjoy comedian's talks like Bill hicks and George Carlin. Some christians are over sensitive that's all. Chill, dude.

  • @jhpv89 yes i agree with you! we are "mold on the sandwhich" the earth is the sandwhich. us humans are the mold. if there was a picture book of places all over the world befor humans ever where. only animals running amok. it would look alot more alive! now compare those pictures with the pictures of year 2000. the pictures look alot more dead. concrete is like cancer to the earths natural soil. and we still coninue to poison our waters. pretty soon there will be no more earth left to go around

  • @uhokstupid pretty soon we will eat up are planet to the point were we need to find a new planet. humans are just a super complex bacterial orgasm that's all as one. but we all see it through our own minds individually. we go through life so miss guided. my the people who want to control the world that is all. BUT THIS IS MY OWN BELIEF. i don't care what people think about my belief. its mine and i hold it to my own soul. find your own and hold it to yours!!!

  • @uhokstupid i could have not said that better... very true!

  • @jhpv89 Agree with every word. All religion is a cancer!!

  • @jhpv89 Hell yes!!!

  • @jhpv89

so are ignorant people like you. you dont know that god is real but you dont have proof that god is. its all perception, thats what creates your reality; yourself. if you think gods real, he is. if you dont, hes not. question everything and dont be so narrow-minded, open up your mind.

  • @KoljiSK If you don't like what he said, why don't you forgive him? Or better yet, stay the fuck away from his videos.

  • @KoljiSK We learned to get over religious intolerance centuries ago. Get with the program. And for the record, saying "he's in hell" does not work as an argument, as far as most of us care, you're rambling about a fairy tale.

  • @KoljiSK Suck a dick faggot, is god existed, he would haven't given a fuck about us CAUSE HE INVENTED THE FUCKING UNIVERSE (well not really, just in your retarded head)!

  • @parazit43v3r Oh, yet another butthurt atheist. Are you really so insecure you bother to press Caps Lock? I guess I would be so insecure, too, if my belief system (atheism) had no solid ground.

  • @KoljiSK You believe in an invisible man. What the ever-loving fuck made you believe in an invisible man? I don't get it... Are you people that primitive?

  • @MrNezic He's not invisible. You are just blind.

  • Comment removed

  • @parazit43v3r Well I guess you just not intelligent enough to understand

  • @KoljiSK No, you are just primitive. Primitive and stupid.

  • @MrNezic Sorry, I am too tired to continue trolling. Both top comments on this page are reactions to my post, so mishun akomplisht 8-)

  • @KoljiSK Oh, so you were just trolling? Okay then. My apologies.

  • Why does he remind me so much of The Joker?

  • i wish i could have watch this when i was 12

  • he looks like a serial killer

  • @NapoliXBleedsXBlue Name me one serial killer who dresses like that.

  • I watched this right before I had to go to school. When I got to school, everyone in class thought i was wierd because i was laughing every fucking second because I couldn't get the "Come here" part out of my head! Bill Hicks is too fuckin' funny!

  • the audience seemed to have a giant stick up their collective ass. I would have been laughing good.

  • God is not great by Hitchens would be a much better book to read on why religion is moronic. Hitchens has much better argument than Dawkins on that subject.

  • this was actually in Canada btw

  • @fisch246 No it was in the uk.

  • @MrCherubhair1 (referring to relentless from Wikipedia) "The film version was recorded at the Centaur Theatre during the annual Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, Canada." He also mentions he's in Canada during the show. Revelations was in the UK.

  • @MrCherubhair1 haha it happens.

  • 1:21

  • funny but true.. :) this man is a genius...

  • This man knew the truth.

  • uzis are made in israel... that makes it funnier.

  • @cwross1976 ha oh yeah

  • C'mon back to my room baby I got some Murr, WHOo

  • @musiclover9361 first of all, I wasnt talking about the entire NSDAP, only Hitler himself, and secondly, there are many historians who agrre that, although not mentioned in public, Hitler had a plan conceived before the Nazis even came to power, to subvert and ultimately destroy Christianity

  • bill hicks a dead hero

  • This was actually in Montreal. Never get tired of this set :)

  • god put Bill here to test my faith...and guess what...i don't fucking believe any word this bible salesmen say...:)))

  • @manbeaver508 Lots of people confuse what free will is. There is a belief out there that it's about doing and having anything one wants. Free will comes the choices we make in our thoughts and actions from moment to moment. If those thoughts are aligned with "God's plan" for you then you will be supported. If not you will meet growing resistance until one recognizing his error in thinking. So I see NO conflicts between free will and God's will.

  • Bachmann's husband runs a "Christian counseling" service to cure homosexuality.

Perry held an Evangelical Christian prayer meeting when he announced his candidacy.

Romney opposes marijuana, including medicinal, and wants to send more soldiers to the Middle East to defend the holy land.

Paul is Christian too, but he doesn't make a big deal of it, preferring to take his instructions from the Constitution.

Please vote for Ron Paul in the republican primaries.

  • @qwexas Great fucking post!

  • @qwexas Lesser of four evils it seems.

  • @qwexas Ron Paul didn't want to help victims of Hurricane Katrina. "Why do people in Arizona have to be robbed in order to support the people on the coast?" he asked (because we're all Americans. Duh!). He doesn't want to give aid to needy countries.

He wants to get rid of the Department of Education.

In the past he's demonstrated racism, homophobia, xenophobia, and is a conspiracy nutter (he thinks the U.N. wants to take our guns away).

These are only the tip of the iceberg.

  • @mrwittyone You think FEMA is helpful? It's a money-wasting inefficient bureaucracy. Many Americans are willing to donate money to help others, and would step up and do it if they didn't think the government had it under control - which it doesn't. We can't afford foreign aid, we're in our own debt, WE need foreign aid the way our economy is heading. Our education system is pathetic compared to other industrialized countries. Make it a private business, since competition drives excellence.

  • @qwexas If there's one word I'd use to describe some Libertarians, it would be "selfish" -- they believe they should get rid of big government because things will take care of themselves (they won't); they believe that people will donate enough money to solve problems so that the government won't have to (they won't). They think "small government" is the answer to everything (it isn't). I personally favor a larger government like one you find in Europe, and having to pay slightly-higher taxes

  • @qwexas ...to help everyone, as long as EVERYONE (this means you, the 1%ers!) are contributing your fair share and not weaseling out of your obligation to humanity but letting the burden fall only on the poor and middle class... the government of today is no more inefficient than its always been... Even if I didn't find the Libertarian idea so wrong-headed, there's still the matter of Ron Paul's associations with people and ideas which are in opposition to a democratic society

  • @mrwittyone Second post: Should've read "...are contributing your fair share and not weaseling out of your obligation to humanity BY letting the burden..."

  • @qwexas ...even if he IS pro-cannibas. Sorry, but that's not enough for me! Maybe you should cast your vote for President Obama instead.

  • @mrwittyone You mean the Obama who failed to deliver on "change", or the Obama who invaded Libya & Yemen after saying he would bring our soldiers home within 16 months of his election?, or the Obama who used taxes to fund a "job stimulus package"? I want a president who cuts all foreign aid, ends the war quickly, cuts wasteful spending, repeals the Patriot Act, gets the federal government out of citizens' business… Why would I vote for Obama?

  • @qwexas Even I will say that President Obama is not perfect, but he's certainly head-and-shoulders above anyone else, including Ron Paul... As far as delivering "change," he was thwarted by the do-nothing Republicans, who are far more interested in stopping Obama's policies than doing what is best for this country. They should stand aside and let him take care of business. Job stimulus? Yes! Health care? More, please! Getting out of citizens' business? ...

  • @qwexas ...Tell that to the anti-gay, anti-abortion Republicans, of whom Paul is one of. Tell HIM to stay out of the business of private citizens... Also, Paul mistakenly thinks that there should be no Federal or State law level prohibiting prayer in school (guess what? YOU CAN ACTUALLY PRAY AT SCHOOL RIGHT NOW!!!) and that the Founding Fathers intended this to be a "robustly Christian" nation with strong tolerance toward other religions. Which of course would never have worked...

  • @qwexas ...He sponsored the We The People act, which would've removed "any claim involving the laws, regulations, or policies of any State or unit of local government relating to the free exercise or establishment of religion" from the jurisdiction of federal courts. In other words, we'd see the Ten Commandments and other biblical reference on public property. Also, Federal, State and Local governments would be able to decide if atheists in their jurisdiction could run for office.

  • @qwexas Again, Pres. Obama's not perfect and Paul has his good points -- pro-cannibis; voted against the Patriot and Real ID Acts; is against the NSA's domestic surveillance program; is strongly opposed to reinstating the draft -- but also has too many faults. So who else are you going to vote for? Every other Republican candidate is an extremist lunatic of one kind or another.

  • @mrwittyone how about not voting at all

  • @kevtruth Not voting is NOT an option!

  • @mrwittyone You'll be my write-in candidate

  • @kevtruth I'd never be confirmed. "Mr. Wittyone, are you familiar at all with a video series called 'Clam-Lappers, volumes one through ninety?"

  • @qwexas I'd love to hear what Bill Hicks would've said about Michelle Bachmann and Rick Perry.

  • @mrwittyone Michele Bachmann is already a joke, she doesn't need a comedian to point that out. This video right here is practically about Rick Perry.

It's getting hard to debate with 500-character limits, and with only one from each batch of your comments reaching my inbox, so let's move this to the private chat.

  • @qwexas

An all together better alternative is not vote for ANY Republican candidate at all!

  • @mrwittyone Half of the time, a republican wins the election. In case that happens, you want the least bad one to get the nomination. Register as a republican so you can vote for the best republican in the primaries, then vote for a democrat in the national election. But this may surprise you: Ron Paul & Gary Johnson are both pro-cannabis republicans. "Republican" is just a name, a lot of republicans are former democrats anyway.

  • "The want for belief is a defect best concealed, if it cannot be overcome."-Jonathan Swift
