its not just asian women that try to do that to their skin. ask the same thing about white women who tan. they try to look darker so are you trying to look black or some other race than what u are. some darker women bleach there skin to look lighter. its common in alot of races. if someone wants to do it then let them do it

Im not trying to be mean or anything, but why do asian women all use skin whitening things on their faces? Are they trying to look like westerners or something? Iv seen asian women that look sickly they r so white.

NO they are NOT trying to look like westerners -_- It's been part of the culture for THOUSANDS of years for Asians (China & Korea especially), where women with pale skin are considered as beauties. Western culture are not even comparable to Asian cultures in terms of time, so it doesn't make sense to say that Asians are trying to be pale to look like Westerners, since Asians didn't even know of their existence until much later in their history.

Haha, I know it can be hard to understand. But I must say that I also don't understand why some people love to tan. I think it's the same thing.. I guess it's just what we think looks best for us. And it's not about being "white" in color, it's about looking brighter and glowy.
