Can't help but suspect this was not a glitch nor an easter egg, but an unfinished part of the game that would occur after obtaining the Apple of Eden.

Just as Ezio uses it in AC2.

@HeartCardian That wouldnt work because of the way he is controlled. Also if that was the case it wouldnt be triggered by a glitch. I assume it is a glitch in the character spawning or something

I think I see how you can control Altair here, you just need to target the clone, thus making the camera focus on him for better control! then release it to focus on the real Altair.

this same thing happend to me on this same exact level haha i used it to my advantage and killed the main guy with two of me one would fight the guards another would hit the main guy all though u had to kepp an eye on both your altiars i had fun with it the guards just sat there and did nothing haha it was very tripy

nope, the 1st controller just controls both, mirroring all movements, but my point was the glitch only happens if you have an extra controller plugged in (even if no profile is signed in on that controller)
