@kristinaelis I have the same problem. I need a more blue-toned red rather than orange. When I wear Ruby Woo, I get compliments galore. And I'm an older gal -- 67. Red is tough to pull off at this age, but I LUV Ruby Woo. Tried Russian Red, and it was just too orangy-red and dramatic -- my lips were in the room 5 minutes ahead of me. lol Ruby Woo rocks !!

@superdakota67 This is a really universal red, looks great on everyone. From the palest to darker skinned girls look great with Ruby Woo and Russian Red on. I love them both.

@PINKxACT Hey, you can get them at ether at any MAC store or at MACCOSMETICS(dot) com. I don't recommend ebay, they seem to have a lot of fakes.

If you want to show a good swatch you shouldnt use lipliner at all as it changes the shade of the lipstick you put over it.

Hi! I tried Russian red and loved it! The only problem is, I ended up seeing lipstick on my teeth! ahh! the worst! Im thinking I put too much on in the store and got crazy. I was wondering if you have ever noticed russian red or ruby woo coming off on your teeth?

@calico102c Yes this usually happens with most bright, cream lipsticks. Oddly, this never happends with Ruby Woo, it is very dry and tends to stay put. You can help this problem by putting your whole finger in your mouth(lol) like a lollypop, after you are done applying, and pulling your finger out while making the "o" shape with your lips..sorry it's a bit hard to explain, but it works :)

Personally, Ruby Woo is much easier to wear. It doesn't bleed/feather like Russian Red does (despite priming and putting concealer around my lips). Maybe that's just me. However, a downfall to Ruby Woo is that it clumps after 3 to 4 applications because of its dry formula. I usually dab on a creamy lip balm to help with that. They're both awesome reds though.

Thanks for this video! Do either of them make teeth look yellow, could I ask? That's my main worry at the minute with red lipstick!

@switchandthespur They're both blue based, so if your teeth usually look yellowish with blue based lipstick is suggest go with more of a dark fuschia or bright cherry red. Yes, is does have a slight darkening effect, very slight, but definitely not as much as other red lipsticks I own. Thank you for watching
