I was refering to her pupil and iris size. They look like a cats when thier eyes dilate. I am well aware not all asians have small eyes or monolids however the size of her iris indicates circle lenses. Not meant to be offensive.

nerdmasterr, you're very correct in many ways. Ms. Son is not a very good violinist by most professional violin performance standards. Nor are the judges versatile and experienced enough to recognize this; they lack the background to judge this and many other acts for which the distinction amongst decent, good, and great can be subtle to the layperson. But at the end of the day, this show is just about whether or not she entertains enough individuals. Seems she succeeds on that front.

that performance was not good at all. she made a lot of mistakes, and she was basically having a hard time with keeping up with the backgroud music. I don't know if she's good or not, but it seems like she's not good at picking music. HOWEVER, it's a tv show, not the international tchaikovsky competition in russia. so who cares? honestly, paul potts sucks, and susan boyle isnt that great. but i dont give a damn about the judges' decisions b/c it's a TV SHOW!

She made a lot of mistakes. The judges didn't know what they were talking about. She was out of tune. It's not a hard piece to play at all. My point is that I'm disappointed that the judges couldn't hear her play the wrong notes and praised her for her ability. Of course, her personality is great and marketable, but, as a violinist, this performance was sub-par.

I do think I'm better than her. haha, but, yeah, I audition if I lived anywhere near Britain. (I live in the United States.) Furthermore, what she played is relatively easy compared to the many other pieces made for the violin. She looks like a sweet and talented girl who deserves recognition.

I agree Addicted were good and the composition by Janine was also good. I was very disappointed that we were not allowed to hear the whole piece. But I believe Simon Cowell had other ideas about Sue Son, as I have mentioned in my blog, and so wanted to end the piece early.

The piece is called 'Chance' and was written by Sue Son's friend Janine Khalil. Sue and Janine performed the previous day as the group 'Addicted'. In actual fact Janine is the more talented of the two musicians. Such is the cruel twist of fate. Sue is walking underneath Vanessa Mae's halo.
