Trust me, "don't tell the wife is a common thing I say too" right next to "quick hold my beer..ha ha, but once you go to this ne alternator I think it would be wise to install a second battery, it will aid in what your doing. Maybe mount it behind your seat since Rangers are tiny trucks, or in a bed box in the bed. Best luck man, I am still orking with high voltage, getting great results with low amps.
Hey Steve great job on the video, listen some things to think about when you go to a dry cell, I have an EBN so that I could play around with different configurations on the wires but the problem is the connectors get hot because there isn't a tight connection, and solder dosn't last long on ss plates. So if you don't want to deal with that get one from this place called Evergreen Hydrogen, or Higherpowered HHO "Rob" they have a good design. Take care, Russ
Steve, If you're looking for dry cell plates, go to e-bay/e-bay motors...search for 316L. I just got my plates, 8x8 18 gauge. precicely cut. Great source for builders. Enjoy your videos , keep at it !!
Great work with your videos, Steve. You are definitely going to love dry cells. You might want to check out my won dry cell design made from Lowes parts. If you can't find a check valve that will hold up, a solenoid valve to allow the cell to breath when its off might be a better solution.
Good luck on your winter solution hope you can try it at -40c for our Canadian winter,and it is a bout time that you get a dry cell ,a bigger alternator is the key .
Have been enjoying your work for a while. One thing, in case you havent already thought of it, get good solid MPG readings before the new alt and then with o other mods get good solid after installation MPG with no other mods. Of course at higher amp draw milage will go down but there has been some debate about bigger alts causing more consumption just to drive the alt. You might prove this to be a myth.
Yep I have good stock mpg (24.66) with no hho. With a hho booster I got 28.2 mpg (no electronics just booster). So when I get the new alt put in, I will check the mpg again and see what the new baseline is.
Then we'll compare the stock alt & new alt mpg #s.
THEN I'm gonna get a dry cell and see what happens next.
Just curious, you got an increase of around 7% Just Booster. Did you reset the computer and let it run long enough to adapt to the added gas? I am leary of lean burning by tamperinjg with the sensors and computer of a vehicle. If monitored correctly and care is taken to not damage the engine it is really the only way to get top milage with the hydroxy. Thats becuase the automakers have designed their engines to keep us hooked on gasoline. To see what i mean search - who killed the electric car.
if youhave any problems with your altenator check around at your local car audioshops they can ordwerdirect mount brackets for most any vehicle, good job cant wait.
It's a great idea to think about what you'll do with a new item, to test with, should the results be less than expected. Keep in mind that LOAD is one of the many bits of information the ECM uses to increase the fuel injection. More LOAD, more FUEL. Peace!

I find the double check valve with the ball and spring works the best. and try a dry cell running at about 3bar.
