@bucknorrismusic Thanks. This song is great! I'm usually not a country music fan but this song is catchy. I can't help but tap my feet to this song. Oh, I found the lyrics already, but I'll look forward to any version you put up.
@bucknorrismusic Well, thats for sure! i sent this to my cousin Pauly, also a musician (punk rock!) who has a Lincoln Town Car that he adores. He will love it!
Not quite right there 82Hellbilly: Go find Charlie Ryan telling the story about this song. The only thing not Lincoln was the Model A body. He took his old Lincoln (new at the time) and pulled off the body, then with the help of his buddy who worked for the railroad (that's where they got the tools to turn the driveshaft) they cut about 2 feet out of the frame and the driveshaft in order to get the Model A body to fit.
That's why he says the Model A body makes it look like a pup: because you wouldn't guess that it was actually a v-12 Lincoln. It's what we today would call a "sleepeer."
...maybe in a former lifetime... LOL but I love those kinda "rapping" country style. Not easy for someone like me, who does not speak the "lingo' too well....
Sweet!!!! I love both the song and the cars!!!! I love old cars :D Expecially those convertible ones...yep..they rock!!! Love you lots!!! Have an amazing day and see you tomorrow!!!
I first heard your version of chicken truck and started watching other song covers you have done great stuff keep posting.

For those too young to know...
Its not a Lincoln hotrod its a Lincoln engine in a Model A Ford.
My pappy said "Son your gonna drive me to drinkin'
If you don't stop drivin' that Hot Rod Lincoln"
Have you heard the story of the hot rod race
Where the Fords and Lincolns were settin' the pace?
That story is true I'm here to say
I was drivin' that model A.
