@BobbyHarr One, it was a pretty poorly done song. I get the feeling he really did even try to make this a good song. Two, And I quote my mother who agrees with me on this, salvation of the man who made the cartoons-awesome but salvation for the cartoon characters-RIDICULOUS. I don't mean to come off as over critical but come on. This was just done badly and it could have been way better than this. Effort and common sense was needed here...

@BobbyHarr I don't think that the artist was specifically suggesting that the "cartoons" become saved. It was meant to be a fun song to make people smile and laugh. It's cute...not something that's supposed to be overly-analyzed in any way. I'm also a musician and there's nothing "musically" wrong with the song. Yes, it might be a bit contrite, but it's a lot better than the garbage on the radio.

@lstevenson99 Hey, it might sound nicer than the garbage on the radio but it's not better. At least the terrible terrible crap on the radio has more excellence put into it. We gotta stop making excuses for bad songs and just learn howto make better ones. You can't expect to be taken seriously when you don't put your heart into what you are doing. Rebecca Black's Friday is a prime example. It's cute (barely) it's for kids but thousands if not millions hate it.

@7kbieber Rebecca Black's Friday is a kids song too but that doesn't change the fact that music in general needs to have a certain amount of excellence put into it. Just because it's a Christian song doesn't make it better. If all music was done with the same amount of effort as this it would be an EPIC FAIL. My little sister didn't even like this song an we have nothing against mainstream Christian music. All in all, I'm not saying he sucks, just saying that this song was poor.
