@nfgpunk That marine was in full uniform in Afghanistan... but that was ok by everyone? That video went viral so quickly and had hardly any haters on board. If I wanted to meet a specific celebrity I would find something that makes me stand out. I don't fault her for wearing her uniform. I understand how you feel but I think that if you had something you were proud of and interesting about you you would try to throw it out there so you would stand out from the crowd.

The reason you cannot vouch for a specific candidate is because while in uniform you represent your branch and you cannot make it seem as though your views are the views of the entire military. Asking a celebrity out to dinner in uniform is just trying to get some cred... huge difference.
