  • i got 5 bikes

  • Haha! I used this to open the company's cash box that they forgot the combination to! Very good, although sad that it's that easy to crack. Took me less than 5 minutes with a screw driver that had an attached flash light so I can move each number to the left and see the right-hand notches.

  • that dark mark there is a actul hole but u can only see a bit of it

  • HOLY FUCK!!!! I DID IT!!!!!!!!

Thanks so much man! My fingers were starting to hurt from going through every number to 999 to do this...

P.S: The dark mark is a dent in the pole thingy underneath the numbers. It's always on the right of the numbers.

  • Bulshit the number could have bin changed the dark mark is the number it is made with but the owner could have changed it. So this is BULSHIT

  • i think this is probably only for this dudes type of suitcase

  • Thank you

  • Is it only me or none can see that damn black point/dot

  • My old lock can be broken by slightly press the relase bottom while scolling first number. A little click is felt, and then you move on to the second numer and so on.

At the end release button and press again

  • just start on the lock from 001 and keep going up from there. There are only 3 digits right? That's waaay easy. 001, then try it. Doesn't work? try 002 and so on. That's how i figure it out :D

  • i found the black marks, and i did everything right, but it still wont open. ive been at it for hours. pleasee someone help.

  • @ebouc3 hahhahahahahahahaa yes, i believe it does :D

  • thank you!

  • mine had a couple of lines on the side thx anyways :D

  • YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS fucking just saved my whole situation right now

  • wait, one thing im not sure about:

is the code given to you when you buy the briefcase/padlock, or can you somehow insert your own code?

  • @arthurdragon17 you should be able to change the combo

  • List .........

    /watch?v=rI2v31F1DS8

  • what if you change the code

  • man you just know the fuckin combination -.-

  • i like my new bike!

  • dark marks only appear on locks that hasnt been in use for a long time and stayed lock. If it was new you wouldnt see any dark marks. That suit case lock looked old as fuck

  • oh my god this actually works it was at my moms work and they havnt opened it in years and they forgot so my mom let me open it and i did there was a 14 karot gold bracelet in there

  • haha..... I know you code now xD

  • I cant thank u enough,i had forhotten my number, but using ur trick i manged to open my case without damiging it.thx

  • i've Actually freaked my Friend out when i opened his Case xD LOL !!

  • Use this to break into other peoples stuff :-|)

  • @simsrockdontgetmewro Yes, you are correct. This method works. I was just joking around, since 1. a screwdriver works, and 2. "tactile demential profiling" is a completely made up and meaningless phrase ;)

  • I got my briefcase open in 3 seconds with a knife

  • 'do not use this to break into other peaples stuff' I love you :D

  • ty so much my shit has been locked for over a week and in like 3 mins i had it open using your technique very cool and very smart.

  • The mark(ings) are from tactile demential profiling from heavy use. A much easier way, assuming you're not wanting to use the briefcase, is to use a screwdriver and simply pry up the locking mechanism. ;p

  • how did the marks get there?

  • oh wait now i see it lol :-P

  • i saw no mark on your briefcase mate.......

  • @ebouc3

I see what you did there.

  • This video was a great time saver. I bought an expensive Hartmann briefcase from eBay really inexpensively because the combination was lost. I was able to crack the lock in less than 5 minutes with this after doing "logical" trial and error for about half an hour. So I can assure you that it works on "expensive" (retails for about 900 dollars) briefcases, even when you buy them for 70 dollars because the combination was lost!

  • what if you have more than 1 mark?

  • 1) Hold your breath.

    2) Copy all of these steps.

    3) Go to two other video.

    4) Paste it in the comments.

If you can do all of this without breathing you're a good pot smoker

  • @wispermakad Hey! Everyone know knows your 14 and a tryhard dickhead, or older and just a tragic dickhead! Congrats!

  • My suitcase has resettable code. So this method won`t work.

  • You only invite people to Lockerz so you could earn x2 PTZ!

  • My husband just opened his guitar case! You saved him! Our daughter was meesing with it and changed it from the manufacturing combo. And he did it in less than a minute! Thanks!

  • i think this works on cheap suitcases

  • I just tried this technique on a briefcase I bought in a thrift store that had an unknown combination. Worked well, but I think a better way to describe the 'black mark' is that it's actually the absence of a metal cog on the inner wheel mechanism. The black mark is actually an empty space, hence dark. Thanks for the technique!

  • thank you man , now i can open my guitar case

  • mine are all sctrahed so 7 numbers have a dark mark

  • learn2spell

  • "do not use this to steal other peoples stuff" why do u think evey1 is watching

  • fuck this... i have been looking at my lock with a light and a magnifying glass for an hour and i cant find any "dark mark"

  • @JoshuaStork to find the "mark" depends on the lock's brand

  • @JoshuaStork

Some locks dont have the gap so you cant see the notch. But it does work, ive been using it for ages

  • @JoshuaStork If you still haven't done it (I know this is 11 months old) then the dark mark is on the right of the numbers and it is a dent in the grey pole thingy underneath the numbers. While going through each number, look VERY carefully for it.

I know its like 11 months later and you've probably either done it or given up but anyways...

  • It's not so much a dark mark but a darkness due to the lack of a ball bearing or a gap in the dial. It won't be on the dial. It helps to push the dial to the left side (when the numbers are upright) so you can get a clearer view. Obviously if you are dealing with a fairly expensive case they probably made it a little more difficult to crack.

  • pffft...i can open those and change the combination in under 1min.

  • I didn't understand

what does he mean about dark mark can any body say to me

please i have a briefcase locked and i need the money inside it

and i dont want to broke it because it is a gift

    so help me please (^o^)

  • I use my telepathy skillz to locate the correct digit. Like now, I know that your combo is 523. I'm right. Damn Im good.

  • wow you know how to read the manual

  • Its not easy To See I can't see a mark!

  • Cool...

  • Comment removed

  • GREAT ADVICE!!! THIS TOTALLY WORKED!!!

  • do you know how to find it if you have changed it and cant rember?

  • This works! Thank you.

I used a flashlight to locate the number ath has a dark marking next to it, the whole process is less than 1 minute.

  • THANK YOU!!!!!!! I FINALLY GOT MY GUITAR CASE OPEN!!!!!!

  • AMAZING!! People who have not been able to do this are not looking close enough. Take a high intensity flash light and shine it alongside the wheel as he describes and lo and behold he is correct. Now don't be confused by the 0's they all have little holes next to them. What he is talking about is deeper and can be seen with minimal effort. I have a guitar case that I bought locked without a combo and unlocked in 30 secs. Thanks.

  • i tried it but there was nothing to see so wth?

  • thanks so much!!!

  • it`s 000

  • Fuck that , just take a cowbar and smash it up :P

  • you can do 001 002 003 etc at the end you will find it.

  • @5kmcon1litro

    YEAHHH

try the thousand combos until it hits the right ones!!!

  • i have the same and just take a knife and put it onder the thing that mouve not the thing that pop and puch hard to left ir right

  • on those briefcase locks all you have to do is pull the open switch and turn the code wheel to the desired # for instance "1234" and then release the switch and turn the code wheel through the combinations one turn and it will be reset to the combination you put in. I.E. 1234

Works on several models new and old including Kryptonite.

  • thx

  • Total idiot

  • thank you, i plan to use this fol "legal uses"

  • Why not just take the hinge apart?

  • I can not see into the number wheel. :(

  • That is totally false. Those types of locks have a changeable combination so they are never fixed and cannot be picked this way. Sorry.

  • @dchap82 the number wheel and the code wheel work alone when changing the combo and will land on the next number you choose to set it on

  • @dchap82 hey pal is there any way to open a lock combination? is this video effective?>

  • @cOLnzkiE not these kind.. video is total BS.. the only way your getting into that case is bust the lock..

  • markylon there should be a indent next 2 the number on some cases (guitar cases withe the same lock)

  • That doesn't work on my case, there is no gap to see any dark mark!! FAIL!!

  • very good. i have a suit case, but i have no number. i opend it, in 20 seconds.

    Thank you...

  • Well you can change the combo on the lock

  • @valttu94 No on se lajinsa.

  • well u pls send me e mail to me how it open combination

suite case thanks ur good help

  • @SomebodyElseUser lol gay no offense unless your a girl but idk

  • I had a locked targus lock for the longest time, and this helped me open it. Thank You soo much. U guys r the best

  • WOW dude...haha...this really helps in my detective project! i love you!!!

  • NEVER underestimate the power of stupid people in alrge groups!

  • omg this helped... thank you sooooo much. im having a bake sale at my school to raise money for the haitian quake victims and i forgot the combo to my cash box! thank u thank u thank u

  • ANY BODY CAN CRACK UP MY BAG NOW

  • thanks man i had a thousand dollars in my case and you just saved me!!!

  • Then just break it open lol

  • OMG. I spent three hours trying to open the combo on my safe box which I found out after was defective. The first wheel wouldn't set to any other number so when I locked it I couldn't reopen it!

your video helped me out a lot! I finally got it open in less than a minute. :) I had to use a magnifying glass cause I couldn't see the marks but I managed after. thank you so much.

  • thx man u saved my life

  • lol

  • there's a simpler way to open these locks that works an most multi dial combo locks. the square knob you push after turning to the correct combo, apply continuous pressure to it (20N should work) than find the wheel which offers the most resistance to turning. turn this wheel till you feel it click or resistance drops off. continue with the other wheels. this works on nearly all multi dial combo locks.

  • nice to know that many of these Vids helps u guys... but 2 days ago i got a new jewelry box worth 50 Pounds .. and i forgot my code today.. i needed it badly .. so i cme on youtube in search for sum help lol but my bad luck nothing worked.. so desprtly i got i KNIFE and broke the lock OFF lol hahah am kinda upsett .....

    patience is a virtue :)

  • WHERE? I DONT SEE THE MARK!!! JAJAJA

  • thank u. it worked for me

  • i cant see shit at 0,43

  • ur not looking at the number shitbag ur looking in between the gaps. god ppl are stupid these days.

  • it's works :)

  • there is no dot...

  • everybodys a critic lol

  • You can change the combination on most briefcases indefinitely.. This is stupid

  • Yes but it is not fixed to the number wheel, when you change the code you don't alter the lock just the superficial wheel so it works after the code is changed

  • Thank You

  • Comment removed

  • is there another way cuz i have a rely old briefcase with locks just like this but the dials are black so im having a really hard time seeing any marks if there are any...

  • i usaly do this 000 001 002 --003..010...099...100...101 follow all the way though each combo works with 3 and 4 cobo locks take about 20minz

  • Yea as Kathleend1953 said...

This locks are therefore called "time locks", you really dont need the code, just time..

And you will have it opened sooner or later..

But, i guess after spending 1-2 hours, and finding the breafcase empty (if stolen that is ;)

    Would be ironic

  • Does it really work? Anyone tried?

  • mine dosnt hve any dark marks?is there any other way to open it?

  • saw

  • Ha Ha. Now i know the combo to your breif case

  • He can change combo haha.

  • @ChowdersHat lol

  • so is true or false??

  • Nice vid. I've found that sometimes once you line up all the dark spots, you have to turn all of the dials at once a few clicks before it'll open. Where the mechanism is inside is different between these locks.

  • Fake. Because when the combo is in the correct position, you press the latch in the other direction, and change the combo. Any factory "dark marks" on the factory preset combo would be null and void...

  • not all breifcases open to the right my 1 opens to the left

  • guess what i know ur combination BWHAHAH :P

  • lol :) prank as you can usually change the number inside the suitecase and changing marks on the numbers would then also be needed. But there is way to open these types of locks and that is by feeling. Put a little pressure on the clip and then rotate a number a feel the differences in pressure at each number. I opened dozens this way.

  • thanks for that tip. i actually found the combo for an old safe box i had. i could feel the right numbers almost glide into place.

  • there is all darks marks all all of the numbers on his suitcase if u c when he paused it there is a dark marks near the 2 also

  • the suit case im trying to unlock won't work

  • am i blind wtf dark mark there was none this crap doesnt work he prob made to more acc and post comment said it did

  • What mark???

On the close up it looks like the five has a mark.

  • am i the only one who didnt see the "dark mark"?

  • nope.

  • dosent work

  • lol

  • haha did u relly

  • i thought it seemed he was being sarcastic

  • woah!!it works!!thank you very much!!

  • OMG! This video helped me tremendously, thank you so much!

  • Yeah but what if you set off the cannister of tear gas M stuck to the inside wall ...

  • Errr Q ... sorry.

  • This is great, because through sheer concidence, 22 similair briefcases fell off various lorries whilst I was around, and I need to get them open to find the information so I can return them to their rightful owners.

  • ur the nicest person to ever walk on the face of the earth

i'd open them and take anything useful

  • Seriously, we need more people like you in this world! That's awesome that you're doing that.

    :)

  • GENIUS, absolute genius.

Me and my father just spent hours working on a comination, using this trick took about 45 seconds and we had the combination.

    Thanks dude.

  • Ehh..I dont see that black thing on mye briefcase-.-

  • The more expensive ones of this type are made well so there isn't such a large gap too look through for the "mark" which is actually a gap. You can use a thin piece of metal inserted on the right side of the number wheel. The metal will fall into the gap and you'll feel the push on the metal when you spin the wheel.

Some locks will not open when you line the "gap'd" numbers up. You may have to add 3 or 5 to each number to get the correct combo. Good luck!

  • thx =)

  • Thx man!!!

i have exact that BriefCase too xD lol

  • THNX !!! i watched alot of videos but now i get it.. i finally got my lock open .. -.-''

  • it dosen't work 4 me

  • 000 is the most common one because all locks start off like that

  • I don´t think this is going to work very often

  • hehe ..........hey people u kno wat i craked the code in an hour by checkin all the nums . on a lock combination there r 3 numbers all have the max till 9 so i tried 999 numbers n it cliked on 1 of em ,,,,much betta than usin this shit wich dusnt work!!

  • this is bullshit

    dusnt work :@:@:@

  • if you steal it with no intention of giving it back you can just take a screwdriver and pry

  • See: 00:01

  • that has very little to do with what i said. i said IF someone were to steal it then theres a much faster way. besides who would want to steal a suitcase. only in the movies do they ccarry around millions of dollars. you would only get the poor mans report he had to do and maybe his cell phone

  • that combination locks that this technique will actually work for are few and far between

  • OMG LOL

  • i dont feel safe with any locks anymore.. lol theres a video to open everything!

  • you tellin me ive been doing it myself and omg its pretty easy if u have the right tools

  • yeah haha, i hate it though when your lock shimming and your piece of aluminum bends

  • yh i kno and its a pain up the ars coz i dnt have the proper tools lol i can do it sometime it takes awhile lol and had to give it a rest getting blisters lol

  • nice
