Was able to see this game. Little of a pitch invasion it looked like in the end. Some of the Catania players stripped down to their briefs after the game on the pitch. Is this some type of tradition in Italian football or Catania football at seasons end or something? Just curious.

it's a bad tradition of our country...overall in the southern stadiums(naples,reggio,catania­,cagliari,bari and so on...).on sunday i was in san siro for ac milan-udinese e no one of us touched the field

they strip 'cos fans want their shorts or their shirt.the security it's a bit low the last matchday 'cos the last match is like the last day of school.everything is possible!overall in a stadium were the home team saved themself in the last match.anyway i hope u like italian football,'cos 4 us football is a religion!a behaviour of life

Hmmm, Italian fans very demanding to request the shorts also! lol Yes, I have found out that football is like a religion to many countries.  Since I have been spending time in Thailand. Even here the English league is very popular. I love the passion of the security in yellow vests going crazy after the goal. Huge late goal that made Catania avoid relegation. Sad that AC Milan will miss Champions League next season. They should be there.
