Since the bulk of fallacy comes from the French WWII experience, let it be known that it wasnt the French military that folded in WWII, but rather a govt that was indecisive and weak in the knees. The reason for that is that everyone has great qualifications, that's just it. We french have far less boats,planes and subs therefore we need them to be efficient that's all....
Well, they work with the Navy quite a bit but there are 5 branches. Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard. I'm not sure what you're saying so I could have misunderstood.

One of my friend had to stop college some 4 years ago, and he joined the Legion. Since then, he made one or two tours of duty in Afghanistan, and when I saw him, say, one month ago, he's still friendly, prompt to joke, to have a good laugh.

thefrench military is pretty good. during world war 1 the french were practically the only allies who were winning the british were beaten alot and the USA came in to late to do much, and russia gave up and started their revolution.

Je suis Britannique, ceci est une tres bon filme. La Marine Nationale c'est OK, mais la Marine Royale de Grand-Bretange est meilleure. Je suis desole la France!
Cette vidéo montre la richesse de la technologie française qui s'exporte d'ailleurs bien. @bannanahomie Thats not for the FFL. It's for the French navy. The foreign legion is a completely different and unique branch of the French military. But yeah, I wouldn't mess with the French navy either.

why does everyone say the French are cockroaches? they couldn't have done anything in world war 2 because of the damage done by WW1 it was so crippled, and today they have a lot of their own useful technology and trained forces.

thefrench military is pretty good. during world war 1 the french were practically the only allies who were winning the british were beaten alot and the USA came in to late to do much, and russia gave up and started their revolution.

pas les "armes" mais les "armées". Sauf la gendarmerie ? c'est pour la prime de rendement qui les rend certainement moins populaire sur le bord des routes ? Cependant l'image de nos gendarmes est excellente sur les théâtres d'opérations extérieures.

heu.. je suis militaire et je t'assure que cela se dit aussi, on dit de notre corps d'armée que c'est une "arme" cela dit ce terme est peu employé, surtout par les jeunes générations.
par exemple un marin souhaitant devenir gendarme fait un " changement d'arme "

N'empêche que la marine nationale française, c'est la troisième puissance de feu du monde avec les SNLE (sous marin de dissuasion), après les usa et la russie... d'ici 2015, elle sera la première d'Europe, enfin j'espere qu'on aura une defense européenne mieux taillée d'ici là

Cette vidéo montre la richesse de la technologie française qui s'exporte d'ailleurs bien. Sans oublier les hommes qui oeuvrent 24h/24 loin de chez eux et qui contrairement aux informations maladroites ne sont pas mieux payés que le commun des mortels (égard aux sujetions) pour assurer la permanence de la sécurité de nos compatriotes à l'étranger,du respect des accords de défense et de nos intérêts économiques à l'échelle mondiale.
