  • yes, you're the only one who thinks that. It's some nastiness in your mind.

  • this is swan lake by Tchaikovsky. she also dances to The Dying Swan by Saint Saens but thats a different performance

  • is that where she wears the white swan outfit?

  • I do love this program, but am I the only one that thinks its a bit bitchy to do the whole "waiting to go out on the ice". I mean, come on. It's almost like a fuck you to the audience. It seems calculated to me.

  • In the replays you can see that Oksana (as well as Nancy) went into the lutz from the proper outside edge.

  • @dylanvalente Both had great lutzes. Oksana in particularly had a HUGE lutz in her LP. She soared that sucker.

  • When I saw it live back in 1994, it was the first time I've ever heard of Ukraine. Since then, I've been there seven times already. So many beautiful girls over there! I keep coming back. Thank you, Oksana!

  • Pure artistry here, mesmerizing!! My favourite SP of all time, even with the little two-foot.

  • I love oksana

  • Great program but she definitely 2 footed teh lutz badly. When she gets nervous she has a tendency to double foot. Its a habit of hers. Nancy should have one the gold, way superior technically.

  • Actually Oksana was 16 years old here, not 17.

  • I was amazed by this as a 12 year old...and watching it now still takes my breath away. unbelievable how graceful and perfect she looked at ALL times

  • she was 17 here :)

  • Amazing how the commentators start with some comments as usual yet very soon they just are rendered speechless til she finishes.....for such obvious reasons..... Amazing!

  • Wow...they didn't have to do that many jumps back then, did they?!

  • they had different requirements. they had the double flip, not the triple flip, but oksana could do the triple flip if needed.

  • yeah landing on two feet like she did in the long program. Nancy was robbed.

  • believe it or not i agree with you. the one jump oksana could do well (but nancy could do even better) was the triple lutz. i miss those good lutzes the women used to do. now they do three triple flips in the program.

  • Yes you are right because they flutz. I liked Harding's triple lutz.

  • the one thing i don't like about oksana's skating is she was very shirley temple. people love her artistry (and i will admit, it was good), but she skated more like she was skating at the country fair. nancy was more mature, but a bit boring. the 93-94 period may have been the least mature period in skating.

  • How fast and stunning is her double axel! Shame she 2 footed the lutz.

  • unbelievable! man it's too bad she got hurt! but she did it....she won the gold!

  • um, Mr. commentator, this music is not by Tchaikovsky!

  • Um...Ms. Natashaclaire - it is Swan Lake, indeed composed by Tchaikovsky! Stoopid

  • Indeed, there are many different movements within the piece. Some people can only recall one or two movements.

  • um, this is by Saint Saens, actually.

    natasha wins.

  • Also this is not Swan Lake, it's The Swan

  • The Swan by Saint Saens was her Exhibition program. This is from Swan Lake the ballet, with music by Tchiakovsky. I'm an orchestral musician and have played this music. I win.

  • It is most definitely Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake, it's an edit from the 'Pas de Deux'. Plus if you know the story told in this ballet, there's a white swan and a black swan, which is what Oksana was portraying.

  • it most definitely is, what swan lake have you been listening to?

  • Never Ever so sublime, perhaps Nurijeff

  • the absolute best ever!

  • Timeless!!
