  • Thank you for putting up these videos, this is very helpfull and inspires me not to commission my head with someone but make it myself :D you are amazing! I've seen your portfolio and am completely awestruck!

  • I like the fursuit head, but for some inexplicable reason, I feel really depressed after watching the entire tutorial... I don't know why the videos seem depressing to me.

  • You have probably heard this before but, you are fricken amazing! plus i love you for having final fantasy music all the time XD

  • If you want a fursuit quote, you should probably PM her, not post it on here. Then you would get a proper reply, as I'm sure she is very busy and can't always check and answer every comment on her videos.

Also, very lovely suit to demonstrate on, tis quite remarkable what you are doing here, I've only just started out so I'm studying all videos with detail, and I found this extremely helpful.

  • What size blade do you use to trim fur?

  • how much does a cartoon mabe' anime or manga one cost beacuse i love your work and i really want one.

  • Ok, I see... You had the head thingy in there.. So you build on top of it to fit the head size, and then it can be easily removed? That's awesome! That helps me a lot with my first one<3 Thanks for making these vids<3

  • OMG! Thats realistic!

I swear i saw it blink several times!

  • what did you sculpt the antlers from?

  • how do you make your noses for like wolves?i dont really know what to make a nose out of

  • this has nothing to do with this video but....I'm making a wolf fursuit and I want eyes like you have on this fursuit. And the one with the tiger! Are they resin eyes? And how do you see through them?

  • Woow i wanna make one! 8D

  • Lol, this reminds me of shearing a sheep.

  • to shave the fur did u use any hair shaver?

  • is this a black bear carribou thing?

  • gota say best buck deer thingy iv ever seen @-@

  • Wat are you using at 4:14, wat does it do and where can you get it (if it's worth getting)?

  • Some kind of gloss/glosspaint wasn't it?

  • I love your furry mask it so good!!!!!

  • how u put that to your head ??? i mean you cant put it to your head cos there is somethign in inside of it

  • The inside is hollow with room to be pulled over a head like a halloween mask.

  • hey can u make a vid with a comepleted?

  • how did you make those eyes because im making a dragon fursuit and its red so i wanted some type of flare with the eyes.

  • How on earth were you painting dark around the eyes? That was spectacular. Couldn't be normal paint, or it would clump up on the fur, wouldn't it?

  • Just regular acrylic paint. As long as it's thinned down and you rub it in well plus brush it smooth, it doesn't clump.

  • Painting ?

  • You should train me in the ways of fursiut making! We could be best friends! Jk, jk. I AM hoping to learn how to make them though. Did someone teach you, or did you just figure it out on your own?

  • I'll say this because I have nothing better to do, but...

Years of practise, patience, and a bit of ingenuity. Most fursuit makers that I know of really had deplorable first suits. It wasn't until they had gained experience that something better was created.

Concept art, concept art, concept art... if you don't have a clear representation of what you're making, you will be massively prone to mistakes and a lot of wasted material and time.

It is extremely difficult and exhausting. ;)

  • AMEN to the deplorable stuff *shudders*

I'm about to start my third and it'll be the first time I use proper concept art...and, well, a proper method at all, really.

However, since I make them myself, and know where to go for bargains, I can usually throw together a partial for less than 200 bucks.

  • Making your own suit is much cheaper, yes. Like building your own PC, you save on overhead costs by doing it yourself.

Make sure the fur and foam that you purchase for your suit(s) is(are) good quality. Cheap fur sheds like nothing else and cheap foam breaks down easily.

Finding good fur material can be a real Easter egg hunt, though. Good luck!

  • If only I could afford that good quality! *sigh*

I'm not using foam, actually, I'm using plastic mesh this time.

Anywho, I'll squeeze every penny! Yay for fursuits!

  • how much do you sell them for and do you ship em cause im looking for iether a cat, wolf or racoon suit "realistic" with a moving jaw for around 1 - 300$ can you help also i live in snohomish washington usa

  • A properly made fursuit costs about $1500 - $2000 to commission. $100 to $300 is a joke.

  • Mine was $2,415.

    Start saving. ;)

  • @Beetle91 Do you know how much a "toony" styled one might cost?

  • @THEGOOCHCREW The supplies alone cost more than $100. :P

  • do you make costumes for a living? that would explain a lot :P

    awsome stuff love your stuff^

  • What was the shiny coating you mixed and used to create the gleam on the nose and teeth at the end of things? And you do amazing work Beetle *salutes*

  • wow i wish i had money for a suite off u they look so real one of the best heads i have seen

  • wow, ur very talented ^_^

  • did you carve the antlers, if so what did you use?

  • I sculpted the antlers from cardboard and papier mache.

  • Thats really good... does the jaw move?

  • Yes, the jaw moves.

  • Sweet.... So if you were to sell it... How much do you think it would go for? Also how much do you think it would take to make it?

  • wow your good Iam a cosplayer rite and Iam trieing to make a nine tailed fox costum aka kyuubi frome naruto but its soooooo ugly -_-

  • I knew it was safe to assume that fabricating a fursuit is a difficult process. But now that I've seen your three time lapse video clips, I'm really amazed. It must take allot of dedication to create a fursuit. Keep up the good work!

  • What an amazing job!

  • you , my friend, are amazing.

  • What's that final stuff you put on the nose and mouth of the mask?

  • clear epoxy to give it durability and shine

  • Eveyrone loves a shiny nose!

    Fantastic videos, truly.

  • I try that, never thought of trimming, very well professional job.... it is worth the watch all 3 parts.

  • Wow really cool deer head! O_O Thats a cool idea to use a shaver to get a short fur look, LOL I neevr thought of that!

  • .. yes.. to make sure the moving jaw works and that everything fits properly...

  • stop being so awesome, omged beetle!
