Time passed on and somehow I meet this most wonderful women and have been happily married for over thrity years now. I have two sons whom I love very much. @iluvmypreppy I am not trying to start an argument, but please take a moment to explain to me why God was not there to rescue a 6 year old boy from our family who battled neuroblastoma for almost 3 years. What lesson could possibly be learned from this. This boy needed oxygen 24 hrs/day. Needed morphine to not feel pain constantly. he had at least 4 tumors on his brain. I want to believe in God, but it is so hard. If you respond, please do not give the cop out that he works in mysterious ways.

right now im totally lost.dont know where to start. i didnt expect that after 11 years of relationship, we would end up like this. My heart is broken, distraught and full of pain.I wanted to move on but my heart is telling me to fight for him. I wanted to give up but my heart is telling me to wait for him.For how many days i lock myself inside my room and tried to end up my life but i know thats not the answer of my problem. how i wish i culd just delete easily the memories we had and live life

I knew this cat. He was like 500 lbs., a real fat guy. But he was the best singer songwriter ever. He wrote tons of songs like this, but he was too shy to sing them or play them in front of people. Terrible businessman too, so he never sold them to anyone. Now he's dead. I can't find the scores anywhere. I'm sure his parents could use the money. He has no kids. Never had a wife or anything. Talk about a frustrated romantic!

Define for me please daniel,what is crazy?You said you're wife went crazy,but maybe her mind just shut down due to all the pain.Our society uses that term so loosely for lack of not understanding what the mind does due to so much trauma.

I was blindsided and devestated when my wife left me and my son 8 years ago. I do every thing I can to be strong in front of my son, but when I hear this song I lose it even after 8 years.

I love somebody so much, that I cannot survive without their love,. the pain I feel is so deep I cant hardly breathe, I dont know how I am getting through each moment, this song makes me feel not so alone. but my heart will never heal without the only person who ever understood me or loved me :(

I love this song - my son died in 2001, my wife in 2008. Sooo many days I feel "...lost and all alone". There's nothing I wouldn't give to have my wife back with me.

@RobertoElFeo1 I lost both my parents, my wife went crazy and my son is autistic and I fell alone too. At least he is doing better and now 8. All I can say is God has a plan for us to sprout new wings of grace and fly to new heights. I hope you see that you are not lost without love. Just remembering how special it is!

There is hope as long as we're alive and everything/anything has a purpose...I believe God won't give anything that can ruin us...He will always be there to the rescue and give us a lesson to learn...take care...

This songs been on my mind all day and causing uncontrolled outbursts of tears. This song says it all. I however strongly don't belive the god stuff written, he enjoys making people suffer, even those who praise him, after he shat on them.

@iluvmypreppy I am not trying to start an argument, but please take a moment to explain to me why God was not there to rescue a 6 year old boy from our family who battled neuroblastoma for almost 3 years. What lesson could possibly be learned from this. This boy needed oxygen 24 hrs/day. Needed morphine to not feel pain constantly. he had at least 4 tumors on his brain. I want to believe in God, but it is so hard. If you respond, please do not give the cop out that he works in mysterious ways.

As for your argument, I see that most people blame God for everything or the devil, even more, talk as though their lost ones have gone from existence. I don't believe that God let the boy suffer without any right to be at peace, much like Jesus who also suffered a horrible death and felt abandoned by God. Even if you choose not to believe it is comforting thought to believe his existence remains

@eisenheim46 i don't blame God. What I said is that it is extremely hard to believe that there is one. I understand that many people do believe and i dont fault them for that. I just want answers how something that is supposed to be great and all-mighty, why he would let this happen to 6 year old Brandt or any other young child for that matter.
