Does anyone know the long term effects on surfaces? Is this another 'Nu Finish' idea that strips your paint?

Turtle Wax has a tough time distinguishing their products. This product is actually a synthetic sealant. I really like it though. The new "3x durability" version is especially nice. The Paste version is in a league of it's own though! It last a very long time, at least a year. Through Michigan winters and automatic car washes. I was really suprised and impressed.

Ran over latex paint. Coated my car with blue paint. Got some off with hose, some with pressure washer. BUT thousands of tiny blue paint spots were left all over my Pontiac.

Tried polishing compound (T-241) with "Liquid Clay". Paint dots came off with much effort but they reattached themselves elsewhere as my car was in the hot sun.

Moved car to garage. Used clay bar / lubricating agent to remove the latex paint dots. Less pressure required.

No latex paint dots and smooooooth finish.

i have applied 1 coat of the ICE liquid wax, and i did 1 application of the spray ICE detailer on my 2008 vw gti. i've never washed my car with water, only griots garage spray on car wash with plush microfibers. i applied the ICE during the summer when i got the car. now it's winter on the east coast and we've gone through snow/ice weather and salt is on the roads. my car still beads water, and after a rain still shines like it was just waxed.

This stuff is the best!! My car is 10 years old and makes it shine like i just pulled of the lot with it NO LIE!!!!

Nvm.. It's a wax. There are a lot of negative reviews on the net. Most of them say it doesn't stay on your car for more than a week.

Haha! I have the Ice wax spray and other stuff and it smells like vanilla and bananas! Hehehe!

I have some other wax from turtle wax, they do smell very good.

yea! i was applying wax outdoors when i noticed many insects landing on my car due to the smell..

had some streaking areas in sun w red paint but was able to buff it all in by hand-

very good wax-applied in direct sunlight and brought out the sparkel in the paint and used on plastic--works awasome-easy on and off

There are a couple of comedy bits...when the old guy describes it as 'the bomb'

and the other guy said his car looks almost as good with girls in it.

ice is good stuff, but I use meguiars smooth surface clay kit, and yellow wax as my primary paint care products. Ice is good for touching up in between waxing, but I don't really know about using it as my main polish/wax. Im really excited to try the liquid clay bar!!

Yeah, cheers mate - it's just recently become easily available in the UK and I got some a couple of weeks ago. It's not bad at all.
