  • Looks like he's playin a Selmer. Kind of surprising to me because it seems Kirk is the one

I'm always seeing with a Keilwerth. Anyway, the similarity of styles is there. Great player.

  • that sweet sweet sound..... God bless the Whalum family!

  • I've played with Kenneth before. Cool dude.

  • BEAUTIFUL great :-)

  • Too much imbellishment IMO, great player, just hard to tell exactly what he's playing.

  • That is pure anointing from God. Playing from the heart is the key. Sound great man!

  • Can anyone tell me what mouthpiece set up this is?? Thats a beautiful sound!! Im sure it has something to do with fact that its Kenneth Whalum but i would love to get that exact sound on my tenor.

  • @JHEWITT63 It's a Sugal. Most likely the Kirk Whalum model, although his sound is so similar to Kirk's because he grew up hearing it, not because of the mouthpiece.

  • WISH I HAD A UNCLE OR SOMEBODY IN THE FAMILY TO TEACH ME ABOUT THE GAME. THE WHALUM FAMILY ARE SOME BAD BOYZ ON THEM SAX. LOVE THE GIFTS .
