    Me two seconds later: Ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff

  • lol urine

  • 4:10 ~ 4:19 = holy. shit.

  • @PanicFan acctually those are really simple combos yun just couldn't block it

  • @PanicFan holy shit to what? I dont get it....those are the most basic things in the game....

  • @Khachik2003 That hit confirm off of low strong? That's holy shit.

  • daigo is always beasting

  • Stop riding Daigo's dick. He IS a human being.

  • shoryuken then shoryuken

  • 3rd strike is not as excited as SSF4..

  • @yourleftnut1

nigga you sound like a noob mothafucka on SSF4 street fighter3 was the best EVER....you actually were fighting each other....unlike your noodb friendly SSF4

  • @yourleftnut1 you are blind?

    or retard?

  • @yourleftnut1 Fail.

  • lol classic setups by Daigo are so awesome.

  • I love the sound of japanese enthousiasm.

  • best ken in the world

  • Man, Daigo did that Yun player dirty!

  • What is wrong with this game on XBOX ...What are the differences between XBOX and Aracade?

  • many players agree that the PS2 and Xbox versions of 3rd Strike are closer ports of the original arcade version than the Dreamcast version, but it is said that the Xbox version is SLIGHTLY FASTER than the Arcade version while the PS2 version is SLIGHTLY SLOWER.

in conclusion, there is nothing wrong with the Xbox version. it's just that the differences in speed is what affects the gameplay when the Parry System is employed.

i know answering your question is 4 weeks late, but i hope i helped.

  • You don't even need the sound effects from the game, the guys in the back hollering and screaming are good enough.

  • @dragonfx310 Yeah they go like NANANA YEAHHH!

  • geez daigo's hit-confirming is unreal... the reflexes needed to pull of connects like his special I sorely lack... I'll stick to sf4 :(

  • @datriadx18 you can work on that with practice man.....it's probably the patience you really lack....

  • @datriadx18 lol at least someone admits to it, not many will say the older ones are hard to master.

  • lol if yall think that video was cool type in street fighter beast unleashed and watch the first one that junk was freaken awesome

  • Alex Valle owns Daigo.

  • LMAO @ 2:38

  • C! lol

  • shoryoooo shoryooooooooooooo LOL

  • rofl i was thinkin the same thing...

  • Damn, I need to learn to kara-SRK. That was an awesome ending to the Urien fight.

  • that was not a kara

  • dude is Daigo a god or something!? He beasted Urien in the first round by a fucking tiny amount of health.

  • that wasnt beasting at all lol...

  • Lol @ 3:32, "Shoooryuukenn!

  • goddamn those fucking commentators wreck my head

  • you forgot parry dipshit..this game kicks ass you just dont know hot to play

  • i never said it doesn't kick ass. I was merely stating how fighting games are played. Standard fighting games like this, super smash bros. melee, sf2, and GG:XX are a lot about out predicting the opponent, and really figuring out what the opponent will do before they do it, and countering that.

of course, by block, i mean any defensive maneuver, including dodging. the fact is that its rock paper scissors. hit beats throw. throw beats block. block beats hit. watch the yun fight again.

  • It's not just rock paper scissors, because you're assuming it's all about guessing. The weaker players generally refer to it as guessing because their reaction is weak. Also, you're basically talking about mixup, and forgetting about mindgames.

  • Mindgames are just part of the guessing game right? I thought mindgames are basically just trying to trick your opponent into making the wrong guess.

  • Wow. Do you even play fighting games? I'm sorry, I just find it mind boggling at how you simplified "fighting games" all into one genre and then dismissed it.

So what games or sports do you actually find complex? From the looks of it you can diminish just about everything in existence in that tone.

  • ok. since people don't get it, yun fight broken down from 3:05.

yun wakeup. blocks(predict attack) daigo grabs. yun wakeup. jump(predict ground attack), but does nothing(he could have attacked and hit)daigo predicts the weakness and grabs. yun wakeup attacks(predicts throw), daigo combos. yun block(predict attack) daigo throw. yun attack (predict throw) daigo counters with parry(defensive option) and kills.

now do you get it? he played that rock paper scissors till yun died.

  • You seemed to miss the point of my reply, the fact that you apparently dismiss all fighting games as somewhat trivial in that tone I'm asking for an example of a competitive game that isn't in the format of rock, paper, scissors and "mere reflex"

You can dismiss pretty much anything if you just explain it in a simplified manner like you did, so lets hear it, what sort of games do you consider are "better"?

  • i admire mindgames.

i'm sorry if we have been discussing this because it seems that i don't think mindgames are a good part of a game. I would love to play rock paper scissors all day with people, but nobody wants to. I think that beauty is in simplicity, and the fact that you can isolate a couple of factors and exploit them in such an RPS-like manner, is beautiful. I'm sorry that my admiration for that system missed you. I play many fighting games, from ssb to IAMP. Reactions is only half.

  • There are always layers ON TOP of "rock paper scissor" theory and that's skill in perception and reflex plus the ability to trick your opponents and leaving them open.

I'm pretty sure you're aware of all that, so are you just saying you have no real interest in games at all? I'm sort of lost.

  • >>IAMP

    That's your problem.

  • I like how the commentators are yelling "Shoryuken!" lol.

  • やっくんの邪魔するなよwww

  • i dont know sf3 much but, why cant yun escape those grabs?

  • Its not that he can't escape them, its just that you have to throw back to escape a throw. However, the throw command will leave you open if the other char didn't throw you, or is too far away for a throw, leaving you open to get hit. So it becomes a game of whether opponent will low attack, overhead attack, throw, dash back/dash forward or jump. But cmon ;) who would expect to get thrown 5 times in a row...NO one would do it...right? ;)

  • does anyone kno how much money do you win if you win a street fighter tourney in EVO?

  • cj - what currency doth ye like?

  • dollar

  • cj - That is rather caltinistical, no? When do you pay them?

  • ???? caltinistical?

  • cj - Yes, that is to be portained. Wings fall, yet did you enjoy the videos that were accepted?

  • i liked the videos but i still dont know what is portained or caltinistical

  • cj - It doesn't matter the now, ken? Which wis yir favourite video?

  • You get about $5000, It goes higher for every player that takes part.

  • w w w . e v o 2 k . c o m

  • awesome

  • LOL U-ME-HA-RA!!!!!! UMEHARA!!! I can't get enuf of the commentators.

  • It's no suprise that Daigo likes to toy around with people and play with - much life left and do a super-ultimate-impossible comeback at the opponent to make him/her feel bad...

  • this yun player really sucks

the best yun player is ko

  • Hah, this Yun player (Yakkun) was on a team that made it to the red carpet at SBO this last year. Please educate yourself about the players in SF videos before commenting about them, thanks.

  • Shoryu! Shoryu! Lolz @ the commentator.

  • the reaction you hear @ 4:14 - end, is faking awsome! japan really goes crazy over diago, makes me wish i understood what he was saying at the end...lol great games.

  • You know, most people would crack with everytime they get their hp reduced near zero but Daigo's just like "pshaw, ill just block, parry and either finish it with a super or a dragon punch."

  • I dont see Daigo as the best player. Good yes but best??.. Not!

  • SHORYUKENNNN

  • I'm a noob. Whachagunnadoooooooooo when the noobamaniacs run wild on yoooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!! Sorry having a moment there. Anyway, the one weapon I always see and never get sick off is that low parry Shoryuken from Daigo.

  • He's not good with Ken.

    He's really, good with Ken.

  • @Mysterio467 hes not really good with ken , he is ken

  • Look up Evo 2k6 and see the best parry ever made in SF 3rd strike. Hes not good with Ken, he's the best in the world with him. Learn to play n00b.

  • lmfao at the guys calling Daigo noob.. first of all stop it with the word noob. Seriously. It's just retarded and it's getting old and stale like your mother's crotches. Second, If either of you two went up against him, you'd probably get your asses handed to you in a gift basket with a greeting card that says "Daigo owns your asscrack.." So stfu. >_>

  • Yes. Daigo is a Big Noob and all the experienced players can't adapt to that noobiness.

  • Daigo strikes again.

  • Daigo's Shippu Jinray Kyaku is always killer...afte a hadouken or a roundhouse kick. :P

  • One of the nicest counter pokes ive seen in a while with that low strong on urien.

  • Daigo is a beast. Nice video. I think this is after the evo2k6. Cuz I think they had evo2k6 earlier in 2006. This is later that yr. Daigo looks alot more focus and crisp then he did in the evo2k6 after coming out of retirement(not playing seriously for a while). Great video.

  • It was before Evo2k6.

  • Daigo is a big noob.

  • is this after daigo's performance at evo2k6?

  • It was on June 18th of 06 if that helps.

  • Pierre is amazing...but I think only once he presses the advantage does his game acutally become effective...toherwise...his urien is pretty much tamed...and yah Diago is awsome

  • ex tatsu > double shoryu

    amazing

  • daigo is christ

  • Christ is such a big word, might as well call him GOD

  • lol indeed

  • Trallagh?

  • haha daigo woopd ass...pierre guy did pretty good tho
