First and foremost I would only be happy if a talented and enthusiastic director was onboard, either John Mctierman, Chris Nolan or Stephen Norrington.

David Hayter as Snake? Be realistic guys, this would be a big budget film and he is not used to putting himself under anywhere near the sort of pressure that involves while on set, my choices for Snake would be Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale at a stretch; if he puts his heart and soul into it.

The director must be able to respect Kojima.

David Hayter would be a better Snake than Christian Bale. He has the voice obviously and I think it would be easy to make him look like Snake. Not to mention, I feel like if Bale tried to play snake then the voice would come out somewhat like his Batman voice... Snake's voice is supposed to sound rustic and cool. Not like he just swallowed a glass full of nails.

I've heard a lot of different ideas for who should play Snake, and all of them have the same actor playing both Solid and Liquid. Remember, one twin got all of Big Boss's dominant genes, and the other got all recessive genes. They aren't going to be identical twins. Personally, I think Sean Bean would be perfect for Liquid Snake. But if David Hayter himself can't do Solid Snake, then they have to get a complete nobody. No big-name actors.
