Yeah, putting them back into the danger zone does NOT make sense. I'm totally with helping them rebuild elsewhere... hell, give them some jobs! Let them build towards their own personal independence. This is enabling future dependence. Let's face it, when this economy crashes and burns (which it WILL, all great empires will come to an end!) the government is going to leave everyone high and dry. Only hope is having your own existence secured.
You can't help some people. Yeah, let's help people rebuild their homes below the level of the ocean, so this can happen again and again, how idiotic.
They didnt go to the lower 9th ward because then they would have seen the truth about things, it was little more then a photo op and to make Obama look good and as if he cared. I would like to see some real tours of the devastation and get the information out there for all to see, I mean when was the last time on the nightly news did you see coverage about how there is little progress in these areas? Never and never will because no one wants to see it and no one cares about it for many reasons.
YOu understand that bush offered help to these ppl before the hurricane came right? A hurricane doesnt sneek up on you over night. FEMA told them to leave and they didnt because congress gave them money in the 90's to protect New Orleans from something like this, however the city officials spent it on casino trips and other stupid things instead of doing what they were supposed to and then Katrina came and the cried about how bush made the hurrricane hit them when the city did hid their mistakes
